It’s very simple when we need to control the game Southgate puts on a pressing lunatic instead of a controller like Warton or even Eze. Then our left side is USELESS Trips wanting to cut in and Foden drifting central giving us NO WIDTH. Put a proper winger on the left side tell Foden to enjoy the bench
We have talent but we do not seem to be able to use that talent. We have Kane a great goal-scorer but are we looking to find him and crate chances for him . And no one seem prepared to run with the ball and the killer pass or even give and go. So static

I just don’t get why Bellingham isn’t playing next to rice that will solve the problem of the midfield being weak that left hand side was a joke trippier is a right back and Foden never plays on the left cant expect players to perform if they aren’t playing in the right position for me Bellingham is better as an 8 Foden as a 10 then you can actually put a proper left winger in it’s really not rocket science
If Rice would be called Riso he would play in Serie B
