Plenty of CD’s in the market. Joe had a very good season and was very solid dependable defender. But there are other CD’s even at Championship level who are more complete players so it isn’t the end of the world.
If he comes to us, fine. If he goes elsewhere we thank him for his service and wish him well in his career.
This one is what it is kagey, this is what happens when we dont get promoted we will lose these players, i love rodon but i think we can replace him with someone who is as good, this isnt a ben white

We cant afford to get in a bidding war, lots of other options more fairly priced, not worth the gamble as we need sooo many other players, that is why the recruitment team is here, they need to earn their money

Well if Joe doesn't join us hopefully he goes to Turkey for a season & we try get Jose if hes still at Fenerbache to part with him. Theirs definitely players out there we can bring in for less , whatever be nice to have Rodon with us once we return again to premier League.
I never thought we'd get Rodon after we stayed down just due to the price. Move on and find a suitable replacement at half the price. Eric Smith who has been linked is a more than adequate replacement at this level.

I think we gotta do everything to get Rodon back Kagey. He gets the club n fans he s a guy we’ve needed for years sticks his head in where needed. We won’t know what we’ve lost until the season starts , we were always at our best with Hunter n Charlton they were ball winners and Joe is one of them

It would be such a pity to see him not return to us. You are right, not going up is playing out the way you discussed in previous live streams. This is why I'm putting part of the blame on Farke, he got so hung up on his 90 points!
No beef with Rodon if he goes elsewhere. He gave it everything whilst with us. What we mustn't do is remain static regarding recruitment. He knows we'd have him back if the fee is realistic . However, it's imperative that we crack on the minute the window opens. Imo, we need a RB, LB,and two more CB's. in Addition to addressing our GK. On top of that, we need to address the deficiency of goals from midfield, another left-wing .And ideally, another no 10 & a Striker. Given the sheer number of signings we need ,and I don't think I need sectioning for my train of thoughts . We all know that just because you get 6/7 new players, it's a massive task to filter them all in and get them ready to go from the minute off. It might be wise to place an option to buy in the future. We’ve seen this movie before when loaned players move for higher fees.
