Hmm, if Ten Hag's favourite type of striker (in his own words) is someone like Martial, then i highly doubt he would like Ramos who isn't that good with ball-carrying ability unlike Martial. And with that kind of price, hard pass on Ramos.
not sold on Ramos(blame my football ignorance) not even on Gakpo(Rashford already does what he does, cutting inside from the left) give me a Vlahovic, a Joao or a Sesko. basically a young striker who can be molded in the Ten Hag way of forward

Good video analysis.I think United should look at Marcus Thuram of Borussia Monchenglabach as another alternative. 6ft 4 and quick, he had an excellent start to the Bundesliga. 10 goals and 3 assists in 15 matches. However, I am not sure if a traditional 9 is what Ten Hag tactically wants. I think he wants a hybrid 9/10 with the fluidity to play across the front three. My money is still on Gapko being brought in, as Ramos will be too expensive, as is Joao Felix, who I really do rate as a player. My humble thoughts respectfully.
If we have to fulfill that €120M release clause, I can see Gakpo is a much better deal. Less risk cause he is available for half of the price and even if he can't perform as a striker he still can provide something as a winger or as a 10.
We definitely need a striker or two cos Ronaldo has left now, Ramos & Felix would be an excellent additions in January especially for the second half of the season is in the balance!
