  1. Given his contract at the club will expire in 2025, Kevin de Bruyne will most likely stay at Manchester City next season. When he was talking about what his future could look like in the next couple of years, he said that with him in his 30s, he’s open minded to new things and would be ok with accepting a new challenge, he never said that he wanted to leave Manchester City, he said that don’t rule out a possible move to Saudi Arabia. Whatever happens, he could end up in Saudi Arabia. He has had some fitness issues of late, I think that KDB has a couple more years left in him at the highest level, but he has the right to decide on what he wants to do and the money that they’re going to offer him, it’ll be too hard for anybody to turn down 300 million a year. There’s no issue for a player going for the money especially since that’s generational wealth, he gets paid a lot of money now, but he’ll be earning a lot more money in Saudi Arabia. If you criticize a player for deciding to go for the money when they’re at a stage in their career where they can make that decision, then you’ve never experienced working a day in your life.

Do you know what these players can do with the money they get to pay for your kid’s education and future, buy yourself and your wife expensive things. He also has to acknowledge the fact that the grass isn’t always greener on the other side and money doesn’t buy you happiness, look at Karim Benzema, a year after joining Saudi Arabia, he already wants to go back to Europe, Jordan Henderson spent 5 months in Saudi Arabia and he’s now back in Europe and there’s where KDB might have to think twice before making a move. He has won everything there is to win at Manchester City, we don’t know Pep Guardiola’s future at the club whether he’ll stay or leave, with him set to turn 33, this is normally the age where players are no longer at peak fitness and he might decide to retire from international football and that would mean that he’ll be able to focus on the rest of his club career where he could stay in Europe for a little longer or go to a less competitive league where you won’t have to worry about having to play 60+ games every season in multiple competitions. Over the years similar to managers, he has been vocal about the problems within the football schedule and the ridiculous amount of games these players have to play and that plays a role in his next move. This all depends on the player and while it’s likely that he’ll stay at Manchester City and finish his career there since he’s a club legend, he could be tempted by the project in the Middle East.

  2. The fact he has one year left of his contract would suggest either an extension or moving on. Even City can’t afford not to cash in on a player like De Bruyne and let him leave for free. Or maybe they can…If City can sue EPL and challenge FFP rules…what do I know.

  3. Manchester City should buy Eze and keep KDB for one year to work with him then next season they can sell him. They should do what they did with Fernandinho and Rodri

  4. C'mon Jules! If Raya is fit to be number one at Arsenal, Martinez is fit to be number one at Aston Villa and even save Argentina from goalkeeper crisis which had dodged them for years, why isn't Ortega fit to be City's number one?

  5. Kevin is hitting the road..His mind has evolved from incredible vision on the pitch to vision of the Future.. He's realized the cops are on their way to ransack everything at City

I'm sure he told Pep that's why he also wants to leave in 2025 ..The downfall of cheats season 1 trailer is already out 😂

  6. Kdb has lost it he was a very good player but now hes just a number deal with it city. He bottles it when it comes to the crunch and when it comes to finals yaya toure n David silva both better than kdb but no one will say that cos those 2 weren't pep signings

  7. Unless he figures his career is over, he should not go to Saudi Arabia. You go there when you are washed up and want to cash in. Ask Ronaldo.

  8. I hope that Bruin will move to my favorite team to participate in the Club World Cup alongside the stars of Al Hilal. Welcome, Bruin.

  9. Fans should not even convince the player to stay or leave the club. At the end of the day, they want to retire and think early what's best for them when they are in 32' years old and above. Get that money for retirement and go back to Man City as part of coaching staff. For sure KDB is a family guy.
