the way I see it i think ineos are starting their own thing and they are basically re-signing ETH for their own project and would have made him promises to that regard of course it would be taken in to account that he is a bit further along and he will be assessed accordingly but it seems to me like a reset from INEOS using their own template hence the new contract with new responsibilities and all. they have decided he will be the man to start the new era with them else they could easily have triggered his extension clause to give a sense of job security and not a new deal.

My issue like many with Rashford is he does not seem to want to play for the club. If you are playing poorly then bust a gut and chase the ball down rather than walking around the pitch. We cant say he has "potential" as he aint young anymore but he has all the ability he just needs to be more consistent

He's not world class, its not his fault he can't get to the unrealistic heights others put on him. He's simply not as good as the expectations.
He had a run of a dozen games where he scored goals, other than that his entire career has been one of mediocracy. Overall an average player who lacks the mentality to be an elite player.

I watched Jamie's Nothing To Something documentary this morning. Props to him for being so open about his life, career, and especially the loss of his mum.
