Bayern was absolutely right not to consider an unwilling player like Dest whose dream is Barcelona. Lamptey is a two match wonder who cant even get into relegation fodder Brighton team right now. No quality Rb is available at the market right now, Pavard is more than decent and is the only option.
Pavard is Just a correct student. He's not brillant. Besides his crosses , few headers and volley strikes he couldn't make a différence in his line and can't be a danger by himself. Even the crosses, most of the time the team (mostly Müller) try to put him in confortable situation to be able to cross. He looks to me not enough confident and often plays the ball to the back.
He's not at bayern munich level players. It's our only lack at bayern. I would rather someone like hotboer from atalanta or hakimi from inter. .

Nah I like pavard. I remember watching France at the world cup and I wanted pavard and Lucas at bayern lol. Both have great winning mentality. Pavard was also very good against Argentina, Uruguay and Belgium. And in the rest of the games he's not bad going forward but he's defensively very solid.
Only take away from last year and his World Cup performance was he can only do hi best when the Right Center Back and CDM are playing their best and covering up for him.
He can never be the player that comes on the pitch and make an impact. That's a fact people need to understand.

I think its quiet simple. First – he needs competition. Then – he needs the will to become the best at this position. Flick can form him. Then we'll see in 2 – 3 years what he became. If he works on himself, he can surprise us all.
Well, he is good enough to be the starting right back for the Champions League and World Cup Winners 😁 He is not a full back like davies or alba who just pace down the wing and dribble, he plays more defensively and simetimes even Puts good crosses in. TAA is better than him , but name me other better right backs
