I think his aerial ability is a glaring weakness. He only wins 44.1% of his aerial duals. That could get exposed in the Prem.

I hope this isn't 'culturalist' but I've worked with many many East Asian people previously and what I can say is if they are traditionally brought up, they tend to have an inbuilt kind of professionalism – not talking just football of course. What this means on the pitch is: commitment, effort, that the group comes before the individua, that the boss' words actually mean something.

A backline of him, Martinez, Todibo and Doughty would allow Utd to play an 8-heavy [thus creativity augmenting without structure-enfeebling] midfield, ideally Mainoo, KDHqll and AngelGomes (been thriving at Lille)/JulianBrandt, with Barkley or Ndidi for backup in case the spine needs strengthening [against the tougher teams, if required]. With a striker like Guirassy up front (or Hojlund, with the wingers and strikers being in rotation), and a winger like JClarke (or Rashford or Garnacho) and tge threat of Olise/Amad/Garnacho on the right, who'll Doughty will be feeding crosses, having been played through by Ito or Martinez Utd would be close to becoming a complete team that can not only transition well but also control possession and tempo, disrupting opposition teams' shape through rotation and precise passing, having to rely much less on volume, having multiple dynamic yet accurate passers capable of breaking defensive lines, being also much more assured under pressure, being able to handle it much more adeptly. A rest d of Todibo, Martínez and Ito would imo handle opposition transitions with accomplishment.
