Griezmann killed France in the world cup. If not for him Benz would have been still playing an they wouldn’t fail
He’s the best example of a modern day number 10. Not exactly the same role as the classic 10s like Kaka, Ozil etc. Very hardworking player, rarely injured and has been key to France’s performances since around 2016.

I think us french people do realize this. Grizou's impact on both sides is absolutely amazing, which is why a lot of us thought he should have been made captain instead of Mbappé. He is leading France by example

Griezemann is probably 1 of the most underrated players of all time. He carried France in terms of goals in 2016 before Mbappe came along and he should've won the ballon d'or that year
