I'm looking forward to both Gilmour and Ampadu
Encouraging to see Ampadu doing well but if has a good season I think he will be seen as an investment. Looking forward to seeing Billy Gilmour just hope that he returns even better than before 💙⚽️
We should maybe risk it on Ampadu. He is a versatile player. I'm glad Rudiger is back. Silva at his age can't play every game. If Zouma gets tired or injured we need someone alright in the air.
Tomori is one the most gifted center backs that hardly disappoints. For some reason Lampard keeps giving the misfiring Christensen more opportunities. I'm starting to feel your coach would rather shoehorn his favorites into a team, than pick the best team for the job. That would mean he is driven by petty sentiments. Look at Everton. Can you imagine swapping team rosters with them? Of course not. But we know who's been more exciting to watch. Sarri had that same defense and that same keeper. I see fan channels making excuses about the keeper's confidence. Kepa wasn't good from the onset. The first goal he conceded against Arsenal from outside the box went through his hands. It was very savable. Arsenal could've scored 5 in that first half because the goalie never came out to claim his crosses.
Sarri saw that, knew the team's weaknesses and sorted that out by possessing even up to 80% of the ball, thus denying opposition the opportunity to test Kepa. He enforced his style on opponents, and wasn't reactionary as Lampard who changes his system and team each game, because he has neither his own philosophy nor strategy. Chelsea is shipping goals for fun, and he is spending most of his time falling out with players and protecting others at whatever the cost. Abramovic has only so much patience after he spends money. Legends have been fired after winning the UCL. Lampard needs to fix himself first. The state of Chelsea's confusion is a manifestation of the coach's inner conflicts.
In my opinion, we really do need Zakaria because Ampadu will mostly be favoured to play as a centre-back and become a really good centre-back for Chelsea, Gilmour and Kovacic are the most likely ones to be the ones pushing the game forward and looking for those through balls, which leaves us with Ampadu, Kante, and Jorghino. Ampadu will mostly be playing centreback so that leaves us with Kante and Jorghino. Kante is getting old and he turns 30 very soon, he won't be able to Manoeuvre around that much and pose a very good defensive performance because he is small and does not win much air battles, Jorghino is not a man we can trust in defence because he is not very defensive he is more of a box to box midfielder. Zakaria is strong and 6 foot and he is very fast o the ball, we can trust him to be a good box to box midfielder but unlike Jorghino he comes back to defend really quick in case there is a counter. Jorghino is really slow and won't be able to help if there is a counter-attack.
I think that a pivot of Ampadu and Gillmor should be the midfield two that the team should be building around in the future

I was sorry to see Ampadu go on loan. Mount, Havertz, Ampadu would be a great midfield. Next season Ampadu at DM, Rice at CB or DM when needed. Try Tomori at DM. He's athletic, fast and can tackle in the open field. Looking for a win on Wednesday.
Why pay 80 mil when you have what you seek right in your backyard. Like you said, I am certain he's gonna explode on the world stage if he doesn't get a chance at Chelsea.
Let him grow at shefield for atleast two seasons.
What we really need is someone like Mikel. That dude was so underrated during his time at Chelsea.

Ampadu and rice can play in the same team don't forget Lamps did see Rice as a cb instead of a dm. Rice to take over from silva when his time is up and ampadu/gilmour sitting in front of the back 3/4. Especially if Kante could possibly leave we could be looking at a midfield of like Ampadu/Gilmour/havertz. Kovacic could be the older more sensible option when needed. And mount can deputise anywhere across the three. Also we do have the option to rotate Ampadu in the cb role too! Love your content keep it up!

I was excited when Ampadu came back after a terrible loan spell at Leipzig but then shocked to learn he was allowed to join Sheffield utd on loan. I think he deserves a chance. He could have stayed with the team & maybe allowed to go on loan in January if it didn't work out. Hope he kills it on loan & gets a chance to play for us nxt season.

Ampadu is sorely underrated and underestimated. I feel like if he were given the chance he'd really shine. He's also a very versatile player in my opinion. Everyone mentioning him and young Billy as a pivot getting me really excited. Could be a great future pairing. Tbh I think we should give him a go before splashing out on someone like Rice. Let's see what happens… Hopefully Lamps is already entertaining the idea…
If he doesn't get his chance soon I can see him following in Lamptey's footsteps and going to a smaller prem club like Brighton to get first team football and I wouldn't blame him. Just hope he gets his chance and stays!
Rudiger was good until the last few games in the 19-20 season. He helped Chelsea to secure the championship position. Don’t know how much Kepa’s poor performance affected his!

Fank you, Son of Chelsea. I don't know why others aren't advising Frank Lampard about how great Ethan Ampadu is? Spending money on another player in that position would be a total waste of money to be honest. Ethan Ampadu is the best person to partner NGgolo Kante and Mateeson to Chilwell.
Rather sell both Emerson and Alonso for £50m. Gomez on free could be useful in midfield cos he's a good dribbler, fast and can hold the ball into the right play.
