Championship is not a top 10 league. Premier league is only better than laliga in terms of athletism. Techniquely and mentally laliga is better that’s why Real Madrid is champions league winners and man city is not.

I am curious as to why 19 year old Jayden Nelson is never mentioned as a potential winger on Team Canada. Yes he is small (5'7"), but he is a regular starter with TFC & he has excellent pace & skills. He is a dynamic player, who may not score a lot of goals; but he is a very good passer & playmaker.
He is young, so 2026 may be more of the target for when he will be considered.

Hopefully a lot of new players are introduced in Gold Cup and Nations League next year.
The last four weeks have really shown just how talented McNaughton is with TFC. He has outperformed the other features centre backs consistently. And more importantly has gained top level experience with lots of minutes. He's not ready to play top level international yet, but he's on his way if he stays healthy.
I am sure that this 2022 World Cup Doneil Henry would be back up man for Canada… even if Waterman and MacNaughtn are better right now. I believe and hope that Herdman will play 3-4-3 system and starter defenders are Johnston__Vitoria__Miller! Henry and Kennedy are back up. Laryea and Adekugbe fullbaks. Eustaquio and Hutchinson starters in mid. Osorio, Kaye and I wish Kone (Piette as well would be at 26 man roster). Wonderful trio of attackers are Buchanan__David__Davies! Back up so many nice options Laryn, I believe Akinola is so so good! Cava as well in a good form and he would be in WC. Corbeanu, Smith very talented guys. Nelson good as well but he cant score a goals… hope he will fix it
