Sargent is third choice as a striker for the USA. Last thing we need is another average striker.

Josh Sargent comps very closely to a 24yo Patrick Bamford:
-sometimes prolific, sometimes profligate
-team plays better when he plays
-but that doesn’t mean he always plays well
-fantastic runs and off-ball movement
-injury prone
So the question you need to ask yourself is this: would you sign a 24yo Patrick Bamford for 15m? I probably wouldn’t.
It pains me to say as a Leeds fan and an American, I would prefer US players to stay away from LUFC for at least a couple years. Too much animosity from both sides.
For championship maybe if he ll take a much lower wage than bamford. For prem. No.
I’d ship piroe and paddy out and bring in 2 decent premier league strikers

Very underwhelmed by Sargent. Adebayo will tear up the Championship but think he will stay in the Premier league. Diaz again won't fancy the Championship. What about Smozdics?
Bamford got a free pass for the last 2 years. I wouldn't wish Leeds on Sargent no win situation.

Was hoping we’d aim a little higher than Josh if we get promoted. You have no time to develop players in the PL. ‘Off the shelf’ seems almost a necessity.
If the 49ers aren't looking at South American players, they should be. And should of been all season.

Great stream Kagey, i agree it’s time for Bamford to move on. We need a better forward if we go up or stay in the championship. Either way we need someone new. I am warming up to Piroe now, but i still don’t think he is the answer for next season. I would like to know, What do u think of Szmodics?

Bamford should have been sold years ago ….I cannot think of another Leeds Striker so utterly devoid of goal scoring ability ….his conversion rate is on the floor ……
Good to see you well Kagey. Wolf from Dortmund would be a brilliant signing on a free as well as Roberts for good strength in depth. Rodon is a must to sign too. We mentioned Doig in the winter and he’s just been relegated with Sassuolo so he would be a good pick up as well we Jonas Wind from Wolfsburg. Strong goalkeeper to compete with meslier would also be good for the squad. Step in the right direction for the club in my eyes

Josh Sargeant – in the Prem? No. Nono. For me, nono. For the Champ? Yes, but for the Champ I wouldn’t care if Farke got his schadenfraude nan to play 9 as long as we go up up up 💪
Bamford won’t be the first player in recent history that we have paid off to get rid of! The amount of money wasted on average players doesn’t even bear thinking about

I thought SARGENT would have been a good shout but I guess he would be a little like a younger BAMFORD, he's like a traditional English centre forward 🤔
Should we still take him if we got him at a bargain price?
BEN BERENTEN DIAS is more probably a better striker for definite, more mobile & skillful with flair, would take him for definite, especially if he we can get him cheaper than SARGENT 👌👍

Not good enough I'm afraid, pure lightweight, looking for fouls all the time & when the referee doesn't call it he puts us in a vulnerable position 😩😫
I support Leeds AND Argyle. I think Aaronson (and Bamford to be fair) would be decent down here in the Westcountry, but there is absolutely no chance Argyle could even afford a 50/50 wage split. Shame as I think it is probably the right level for BA.
If we do go up I would sack Farke and get De Zerbi. Also hopefully means no Farke so no Sargent 😊
Aaronson rounded into form a bit late in the season with Union Berlin. That's not to say he has a place here, and I think it'd be almost impossible for him to get back in the good graces of the fans, but he showed glimpses of the player we saw early last season. Also Sargent is playing at his level in the Championship. I do think his game has improved since Norwich's last stint in the Premier League, but is he even an upgrade over Piroe?
If we get to the prem we gotta go big with 3 signings a quality cb

No to Sargent for me too.
Regardless of what division we are in we need players that can do it at all levels especially Strikers. This may mean searching Europe or the African continent for that undiscovered talent with desire , strength and skill.

Absolutely agree kagey!! Sargent has been shocking since I can remember him and why would we get him in after finally getting paddy out,both terrible
