We watched guys like Vertonghen and Alderweireld rise and fall all while Azpi was in his prime. And he's still going. Hope he stays for another season. But he's been a massive club legend. I know we don't officially retire kit numbers, but his 28 should be unworn like 25 and 26.

Mane is looking at the ball, not the man, and catches him with his forearm. Azpi seems to have his arms around Mane too. Mount could have seen red but yellow was right there too. Can't really get an objective view from the man hit. What else would he say? Need to be objective.
What this shows as with other decisions is that the standard of refereeing is poor and the lack of consistency is unacceptable too, especially from VAR. put former players in the VAR box and it woulf soon change!!
If Mane's challenge is red, then Mount having a kick on Tsimikas, while he was on the ground, is also a red….

It was an arm, wasn't an Elbow, he didnt look at the man, and it was a yellow at most, never ever a red card and if it was given as a red card then everyone would be up in arms over it, silly talk at this point

You have to use some common sense, I mean if your going to argue this is a red then Mount’s kick out is a red card as is the incident late in the game where there’s a forearm to Konate’s head just as it was with Mane and Azpi 🤷♂️ As it was, I think the ref and Var handled it well and didn’t ruin the game!
The way Chelsea played last night, if Mane had got the red card, Liverpool would be defeated 7-0 easily.
