Jack Grealish is an excellent player, but I think heās wasting his career at Manchester City. He has divided opinion since his big money move to Manchester City in 2021 as heās yet to truly justify his 100 million price tag heās come under criticism for his lack of goals and assists and many donāt like his playing style think that he doesnāt make enough impact in the final third with how heās always playing side ways and back passes. This season has been very complicated for Grealish. A testament to how star studded Manchester City are is him going from a key player in a team that won a treble to now a squad player in a span of 12 months. He has found himself in and out of the starting lineup and while heās struggled with injuries, heās not always been that good when fit and sometimes he doesnāt even play. Thatās down to Phil Fodenās incredible form, he also plays him and Bernardo Silva out wide in big games and at times Pep Guardiola has preferred Jeremy Doku over him. Heās actually very lucky that he even made the England squad for the EUROs this summer because he hasnāt played enough and when he plays, heās been decent to say the least and doesnāt start a lot as well. While thereās an importance of winning trophies and heās guaranteed to do that at Manchester City, a player of his caliber should be playing regularly someone whoās seen as one of the most expensive players in the world cost over 100 million is content with wasting his career on the bench and making headlines for what he does off the pitch than we he does on the pitch when he plays. Next season, his fortunes could change, if not then he should consider leaving.
The Pep system has completely destroyed the player Grealish used to be. He was so exciting at Villa – skills, dribbling, goals. Now all he does is take 1 or 2 touches and pass.

I think Rory is spot on about aston villa situation. We all love to see clubs like newcastle villa leicester representing league in UCL But without squad depth these clubs often get overwhelmed and pay the price in the league and get lost in the momente.

Once in a while these guys show you how they really feel about City and Rory just did that when comparing City with Bayern.Super Jack is more important than you guys think, we missed his 1, 2 goals per season against Arsenal. The alcohol thing is affecting the team negatively though. You guys say Pep doesnt use Jack right but watch him against Atletico, that performance was a thing of beauty, what he did to Carvahal in the treble season, who has done that to Carvahal? he just needs to take himself serious. Olise is literally a Mahrez regen, he would have a career at City.

Pep doesn't care if you're a player who likes to express themselves and take control of a game by themselves. He may not like it all the time but he'll allow it, but if you do you better be damn confident in your ability and Jack grealish doesn't have the ability or confidence to take a hold of a game himself.
He was a dynamic and maverick player at Villa but he's now just a ball carrying play it safe and square type…..Pep doesnt allow players the type of freedom Grealish thrives off.
Would be great to see him return to Villa, Emery would gey him back to his best and beyond…doubt it would happen due to the money involved but I'd love to see it
