  1. Arteta signed him to be a 6 and since then he hasn't been able to play Rice without another 6 like Jorginho or Partey because he's so underwhelming on the ball and is poor in build-up.

He isn't a special player, he's your average tall physical ball winner like Palhinha or Amadou Onana, he's just English so Arsenal got extorted for that fee.

  2. Really enjoyable interview. Dec comes across as such a lovely lad, so articulate and engaging. So pleased Declan Rice is now a Gunner, he is some player and still improving. Dec never fails to clap us fans before kick off and after the final whistle, we appreciate him and his actions state he appreciates our support.

  3. The difference between playing for Arsenal and West Ham is HUGE!

He’s got that in him. Future Mr. Arsenal. Class all over him. Credit to Hammers

  4. Even as a Utd fan, I love Declan and think he’s a sound guy. Disappointing he didn’t get his premier league title but he’ll win trophies for sure down the line. Top top bloke…..would love a beer with him 🍺
