  1. This is the first retirement to actually hit me hard (no Diddy) since Zizou 😢😢😢😢
Kroos is my favourite Real Madrid player of this generation❤
May the football gods crown him with his 6th UCL title as a parting gift 🥲🥲🥲

  2. He‘s won almost every trophy, so there‘s not much to play for. He made it back to the national team and will play another Euros, so there‘s that. He’s a proud guy and doesn’t want to be relegated to the Real bench eventually, while he also frequently ridicules players leaving Europe for Saudi Arabia, so that is no option either.
Above all else, he’s a man of principle and a devoted family man. He’s well aware that there’s so much more to experience in life. And if you know Kroos you know that he‘s a huge basketball fan and a good friend of Dirk Nowitzki. Watch Dirk and you realize that he probably serves as an everyday reminder to not overdo it; Dirk can hardly bend his knees anymore and will have a hard time running around with his kids, and I‘d imagine Kroos certainly doesn’t want that for himself and his family.

  3. He doesn't want to risk becoming like Casemiro, where the fans start to turn on you when you can't do what you did before. I wouldn't be surprised if he's read some articles or watched some youtube videos that do not paint a satisfying picture of Casemiro. It's the right move. He and Jurgen Klopp can meet up in a pub and have a good laugh watching others play the game.

  4. Toni Kross had that Spanish technique coupled with German industry. I've watched so much of Kross, stationed as a pure 8, near the left back, avail himself to ease the press and he never seem to lose the ball. Although technically gifted he really did put a number of miles on his body, especially with how undroppable the 3 of them were. I've also watched Touchmeni a great deal as well as Cavaminga & they seem not to think as quickly as Kross, despite their other strenghts.
As with Michael Ballack, technically gifted players with a hellava engine.

  5. England WILL NOT win the Euro
There is a better chance Gibraltar winning the Euro without qualifying than fn India’s masters England.

  6. Never played in the EPL. Only the best played in the EPL. So he is nowhere close to world class midfeilders, like Gerrard, Lampard and Scholes. If he was any good, he would have gone to a club like Newcastle and made them win the league. He choose to play with Madrid and Bayern who often dominate their league.

  7. I respect Kroos for being a such reliable player, his mind boggling passing accuracy made him so. I admire his elegance, never lost temper, always focused on the game. He retires at the right time. Very realistic.
