  1. Talented, white, and English. Premier League clubs drool over those 3 qualities. Look at Grealish, Kane, and many other really talented players but not worth the insane amounts the clubs say they are.

  2. I don’t remember at which club he played at, whether it was Fulham or Newcastle. But that “joelington” guy had better stats than Declan’s in the past or so season

  3. It’s just how the market works. West Ham don’t want to lose him, so they’re gonna put a ridiculous price tag on him to try and stop other clubs from buying. Simple. It’s the same with Pedri’s 1 billion release clause

  4. Only 2 players can justify money like that Ronaldo and Messi in their prime because of hind sight and we know how they play out.

  5. The short answer is yes!

Because a club like West Ham cant find an equal or replacement too him for £70m. Every player west ham could buy with that money would be 1 or 2 clear downgrades. How much dont you think Bellingham would cost, and how much of a gamble isnt that? Just look at Sanchoand how that worked out, and who says the deal wouldnt get hijacked by a CL club like always.

West Ham were first on the Diaz and had a done deal, But Liverpool hijacked it and as he would rather go to Liverpool for less money, nuff said.

  6. No idea where everyone’s got this £150M figure from. Memes aren’t reality and West Ham would never get that for him. Likely more around the 50-100 mark. Someone’s worth what someone will pay for them and in modern football, that seems to be around what he’d go for.

  7. Looking at Rices workrate, he is worth £78-£88M. I think £100M would be a fair deal if bought in the coming January window.
