[Tim Stillman] Boreham Wood chairman Danny Hunter says Meadow Park would be interested in bidding to host the UWCL qualifying rounds that Arsenal Women will (almost certainly) take part in in early September. Draw due to take place on July 5 so wouldn’t be decided until shortly after.

This would actually be very very good. No travel, no artificial turf and a home crowd. Plus from UEFA’s side I can only see 2 reasons another venue would potentially edge out ours. 1) capacity, it’s not the biggest. 2) if they want to award it somewhere to (attempt to) help grow the game there. But Meadow Park has lots going for it despite the fact it doesn’t meet group stage requirements.
