Shocking to see at the least. Hayes was waffling when talking about "male aggression" in the conti cup final touchline incident but this is clearly unnecessarily aggressive behavior for a male coach in a woman's sport and Jonas has to understand that

Socking for sure.
Is that from the Everton game that he tried to sub her in the last minute and after Everton had equalised?
Or is this a different game?
Yeah ain’t no way Viv would play for anyone after that exchange. And to me, Jonas doesn’t seem like the type who has heart to heart talk with his players so the tension might be around for quite a while. The possibility of the last straw and all that is quite real.
Doesn’t really seem to reflect well on either of them. Jonas needs to do better or the perception will only get worse and viv’s reaction isn’t a great reflection on the energy she’s bringing to the team dynamic currently.
emma has done alot of questionable things but i never disagreed w her when she said that jonas shows clear signs of male aggression. glad there’s finally some video evidence
I defended Jonas after the Conti Cup final this season, but watching this really does show he’s got some issues that need addressing. This coming out alongside Viv moving on at the end of the season doesn’t sit well at all with me – deffo something gone on behind closed doors
I’m not a Jonas fan, but I don’t see how this shows him being aggressive at all. He seems to be pretty calm while talking to an agitated Miedema. The *reason* she’s agitated might speak poorly to his player management…but his behavior towards her in that short blurry clip seems fully consistent with how I would want a manager to act in that moment.
