cmon England!
I FUCKIN HOPE NOT!!! SOUTHGATE OUT!!!!
Slow, methodical, structural thinker! Great traits for a town planner not a frontline manager!
Southgate is a nice guy but I have zero faith in winning anything with England because he is a mediocre coach, so England will lose a game when they meat a team with a good coach. So I strongly doubt England will win the Euros.
It is not his fault he is still in the job, it is just the English FA are not ambitious, brave or bold to make the change for England to become one of the best two teams in the world. Southgate is the English Marc Wilmots. Wilmots was the former coach of Belgium at the peak of the golden generation and squandered the talent he had because he was a mediocre coach who only got the job because he was Belgium, so despite the fact he had the strongest squad in the world, he couldn’t win games against big countries and lost in the quarterfinals in the euros to Wales a clearly inferior team due to his bad coaching. The Belgium FA where brave enough to fire Wilmots and say he wasn’t getting enough good results for talent he has and got a slightly better coach and Belgium started beating big teams and became number 1 ranked team in the world. While cowardly English FA want give Southgate even more time to fail and waste a generation because they think England is winning because of him when the fact he has the strongest and deepest talent England team in their 150 year history and is out of his depth picking bad players over players who have potential to be world class.
