Who actually expected Liverpool to be fighting for a title?lol realistically 3rd is a great finish..considering the new midfield, injuries n playing under 20s in some games..plus we ain't got top class footballers,we in a elite league but have prospects 🤷🏾♂️no other job of elite status does this happen

Look across the front 3 and you’ll see Nunez, Salah and Diaz are all in top 10 players for big chances missed.
Fine margins yes….But that’s what separates Mane, Firmino, Salah from this front 3. Clinical and ruthless.
Another fact is….Too many experienced players in the squad either got injured or form dipped when needed during run in.

Not just Nunez. Salah, Nunez and Diaz all went cold at the same time. Nunez has always missed sitters but still scored ,the ladt few weeks he isn't scoring and missing sitters. Diaz is never going to score loads of goals and Salah going cold at the same time. A perfect storm.
