Last weekend, US rising star Gio Reyna celebrated his 50th Bundesliga appearance by scoring the first goal in a dramatic 3-2 win for Borussia Dortmund over TSG Hoffenheim. The 18-year-old is fast becoming a key player in Dortmund’s bid for the Meisterschale and is another example of the quality of young players throughout the league. The Bundesliga has so often provided a platform for talented footballers and was once again one of the youngest leagues in Europe last season.
