Only thing I’m afraid with Koulibaly is that he becomes a Mangala type player. Obviously koulibaly has shown his class but I fear that he never fits into the prem. I hope he turns out good for us but I have a feeling about him not performing well
Forget Koulibaly and Diego Carlos , City should just steal Upamecano for merely 50 million euros release clause. His performance today vs Atleti was out of the world . City just sign him quickly .

I have never seen man city spending money on 29 year old.
We were always a club who bought players at 23/24 year old and made them world class at city.

Diego Carlos looks like next otamendi to me.
I have seen la Liga games where is he commits to early, tackles too much and slides too much.
We need composed defender like VVD like Laporte who knows when to do what.
Plus he is a defender who doesn't smell danger and doesn't stop play early on.he is a defender who is good defender inside his own box…we need player who sees the pattern of play and smells danger.

If we were to sign Koulibaly for £60m on a 4 year £100k per week deal, we re effectively paying £20m per season for his services with zero sell on value at the end of his contract. He simply isn't worth the money.

Koulibaly is good thats sure but i believe he will wearout after two years as he can be outpaced by the premier league action….But Diego Carlos would be a better investment right now considering he is more athletic and can offer more years for City 🤔
