      Time and time again, excellent analysis. I love this content! Rice seems more a long term replacement for Kante. Let's be clear, Kante is Kante. There won't be another Kante. Rice could bring shooting from that pivot position which is something Chelsea have lacked since Lampard and Essien left. If Chelsea sign him, I actually can see Chelsea playing a more attacking pivot player like Mount next to him similar to the way Modric plays that role next to Casemiro for Real Madrid.

      I came from watching de jong and what came on my mind is that he need a solid dm next to him to carry ball freely and defend when the other one carry the ball or lose it
      And no name came to my mind but rice, like a matching made in heaven

      Great video as always. Please do one for Luis Sinisterra of Feyenoord. Judging by his stats in the Eredivisie and Conference League, I see him as a good alternative to Antony for United, but I haven't watched him a lot to really know how good he actually is. Pls pls pls.

      Amazing video. I can see rice developing regista qualities but I don't think he will be able to do it at an elite level like Busquets or veratti. He doesn't have that world class close control and ability to turn under high pressure like they do.

      I think he can develop these over time as he showed insane progression in the last 3-4 seasons and he is still very young and raw in some parts of his game. He need to leave ASAP!

      I will say this once and only once. Rice is a Chelsea academy player. There is no doubt that he can play that build up role if tasked to. We'll watch him do it at Chelsea and excel without a doubt.

      I feel like he'd be a good fit for Liverpool, but they or anyone else won't break the bank for him. Although I do see flaws in him game but I feel it's like you said ; the coaching. He'd develop massively at Liverpool. I could see him as a 8 or 6. But I definitely see him as someone that could potentially take that Henderson role. Liverpool has looked at Tchoumeni, someone who is very similar to Rice, so I won't be surprised if eventually go for him once he's cheaper.

      Very fair analysis. I always make the joke that seeing Rice run with the ball at people is the most clumsy but effective thing ever. Doesn't look right visually but it works 8/10 times lol

      I believe his weakness can b attributed to his current club
      This guy is still young and switching to a bigger club like Chelsea will develop that weakness of his game cos Chelsea loves to build from the back which happens to b his weakness

      To be honest I think he could be a bigger and better version of makelele with an aerial presence the French man just didn’t have the stature for (by the way I’m not English so it’s not even that English delusion but I really see him a a gentional possibly intergenerational talent)
