During the official Jerez MotoGP test on Monday, KTM worked on addressing the chatter (vibration) concerns that surfaced during the race weekend. They also conducted “experimentation” with various sections of the engine, clutch, aerodynamics, and ride height devices.
Brad Binder and Pedro Acosta both received updated side fairings as part of the aero work; after a time assault on his last lap, the South African secured sixth position (+0.234 seconds), making him the quickest RC16 rider.
After Fabio Quartararo’s penalty in the Herez MotoGP Sprint race, KTM wild-card Dani Pedrosa shocked everyone by finishing in the top three by avoiding the dangerous wet sections.
