Give him next season under proper football ownership. If it doesn't work out then and we dont have a consistent style then we can move on from ETH. I believe he deserves next season to prove all the doubters wrong.

Basically he agreed there are problems with the back four, the midfield, the wide players and the striker is a “talent” but needs a lot of time. Apart from that everything’s fine
Yawn. typical Gary going after the owners right from the off. I can answer that first question. de Jong didn't go to United because he said no. Simple. But implying that Ten Bag doesn't get who he wants is ridiculous. You cant use the same excuses you did with previous managers. Antony, Malacia, Matiniez, Hojland, Onana, Mount. These are not glamour signings brought in to sell shirts, these are guys that the manager wanted and got. The most hilarious thing about United excuses is how much they contradict themselves. Every manager prior to Ten Bag had the excuse that all their signing were being made by people upstairs and they weren't who they wanted. Then Ten Bag comes in and gets given free reign to buy anyone he wants and he does. But now the owners are criticized for not having a guy upstairs to buy his players 🤣 Look at Emery or Postecoglou. You cant tell me Ten Bag hasn't had it easier than them. More money, better team to start from and can attract a higher profile of player but they've actually improved their teams and he's going backwards.

People just don't want to admit coming off the 1st season where we already had threadbare squad, but played the most matches in Europe, this clearly lead into a summer where we didn't have all our transfers done and an already overworked squad into this season, this has clearly lead to affect the availability of players this season. Not to mention he's had CR7, Greenwood, Sancho, Rashford issues to deal with. Not to forget too since he came in we had uncertainty with the Takeover of United to contend with. Dont forget we all our strikers and were down to Weghorst before we got Rasmus…
Even with all of the above what has he done, Brought through Maino, Garnacho, and a few more youth talents, improved Rashy(last season), Dalot, AWB, 3 cup finals, 1 cup, remember this is only his 2nd season NO other Manager Klopp, PEP, Arteta have ever been judged after 2 seasons for me it shows the Media are against him.

The game model is to leave a huge space in midfield to allow opposition to waltz through and have pot shots at our goal.
No probem with Rasmus, I wish ETH would address his lack of service.
No LB practically all season. No best CB in Martinez practically all season, Varane fit for less than 50% of the games. No CDM for 50% of the games. How on earth are you supposed to build consistency and patterns of play when your choosing a different back 4 every single game.
Respect Ten Hag for doing this interview, more than some of his predecessors would have done. Still not sure about him for the long term e.g. his explanation of why too many shots against this season wasn't convincing, but let's trust the process and allow the new management to make that decision.
Imo he should get 1 more season under a structured leadership where all he has to focus on is the football. In his first 2 years he's had to do the job of DoF and head of recruitment which he obviously isn't qualified to do. I think he's a good football coach and he's got the right temperament to be a United manager
Still has a lot to prove for me. The way he handled the Ronaldo situation & now Sancho is on fire! Another trophy-less season & finishing 7th is not good enough!

This guy is not good enough, no matter what people say. Even if united have bad player, by now we should be able to see an idea of how he wants his team to play. There's no discernible structure of play into which even better player can fit. He simply sucks. Get rid of him

Watch until we got a fully fit squad all the Ten Hag outers will flip flop like they always do. They expect us to be successful straight away. Lower your expectations and relax yourself. The Guy basically said the same thing to every question. It’s nice to see him being a bit more honest but it is clear that he isn’t allowed to say what he really wants to say yet. Clearly just saying that he doesn’t have the squad depth quality to play his way which makes sense because city without Rodri can’t play the same way with all their quality so why should anyone expect him to be able to.
This interview will be very different in the summer after he’s lost his job. He can hardly say anything negative about the administration and senior leadership team whilst still the manager, would be career suicide!
