A few weeks back – he scored a winner in a final and was an inspirational captain and leading by example to younger players. Hes been one of the most consistent defenders in prem for 6 years .EVERY single move reds play is through him ….Who else in current team is better ? Trent ? Can’t defend ! Robbo ? Not the dynamic full back he was a few seasons ago . There’s only Alison and he’s a goalie ! Go and wobble your head !

Another person who could help change the urgency on the pitch is Klopp. No Liverpool fan wants to criticize Klopp bc he is leaving but he has been just as poor as the players in April. No tactical adjustments
100% Craig when he gets the ball he takes an age to move the ball forward which gives opposition time to set etc "languid" is a great adjective

1. Watch Liverpool play.
2. Watch Liverpool concede goal.
3. Watch this ‘leader’ throw his too cool for school arms in the air and look at someone on his team to blame (even if the goal was clearly a result of his stand-off ish, passive defending).

PS: you see it across sport, people make the tallest person captain ahead of other real leaders because of a subconscious presence.

Stop blaming Virgil, the guy has done well for LFC. Our season should have ended several months ago if he had been injured. We had opportunities to sign back up CBs in several transfer windows but we didn't
