Coventry pulled off one of the most unexpected fightbacks in FA Cup history by rallying from three goals down against United to force extra time after a 3-3 draw in Sunday’s semifinal game, only to falter at the end and let Erik ten Hag’s team escape with a 4-2 win in the shootout.

Coventry sensed that United were slacking off at 3-0 and pounced. The solution is simple… don't slack off. Put in 100% effort until the final whistle, not for 75 minutes or 85 or 89 or 94 or 98 or whatever…give it all until the final whistle. That's what you're paid the big money for. You are allowed to win 6-0 or 9-0. You don't have to stop at 3. Be ruthless until the end, otherwise you are just passengers.
