Joao Cancelo must be let go; he is liability in defence!

I see Cancelo as the same type of player as jordi Alba. He is incredible in la liga, but cant be relied on in Champions league or Huge games. Offensively they both are fantastic, but they both always costs goals and gets very nervous in the Big games.

In my opinion. The Cancelo issue shouldn’t even be a debate at all. The man should be kindly sent back to Man city.
Don’t get me wrong, not that I hate the man, No that’s far from the point. As a matter of fact, I love and respect him for all he’s done for the club so far and his passion is second to none, but
same mistakes in back to back matches is no coincidence and this types of mistakes can’t be accepted in a club like Barcelona.
There’s a reason why the best coach in the world doesn’t want him in his team. The man can’t defend for shit. I bet you, even Pep himself, still won’t keep him when he goes back to City

U r becoming quite the "politician." Stop with the daftness. People like Xavi don't have a "caretaker" mode. They are champions. And I said it then, and I'll say it again now, you we're one of the 1st to jump on the fire Xavi train. This kind of reactive, chaotic, A.D.H.D fandom is embarrassing when we made it to the quarters of C.L. with 17 yr olds, he is doing an impeccable Jon integrating the new talent, and there is no reason to even consider changing Xavi, given current circumstances. Now, next year is a different conversation, but if you're going to lobby for a coach, do so with an understanding of the entire situation. No catalan or spanish would suggest a German, no matter how many translators, especially when you're working so intensly with La Masia upcomers. It's about the culture, not the language!

I am All for xavi staying but there needs to be major squad revamp for me it could be:

1) Frenkie De Jong (good player but wrong profile for us)
2) Ferran Torres ( mediocre at best bad finishing)
3) Sergio dest alonso etc
4) Raphina ( he has been good but we need someone more better 1v1)
5) Romeu
All of this would bring around 260 mil to this club out of whichwe get to spend 100 mil this summer. Priorities this summer:

1) Kimmich (50 mil)
2) Leroy Sane (60 mil)
3) Bernado Silva (50 mil)

This should patch up the team and make it more balanced

We lapsed back into terrible defending and Cancelo is main culprit in PSG and Real

Back up LB for Balde and Kounde and has Fort

xavi needs expirience, he should come back in a few years when he learned about coaching, but the biggest problem is his "mentality" 3 red cards, and idk how many yellows thats just not acceptable

Cancelo is way too casual. He should not be on the team. Not reliable for big games.

Here is something you Barca fans don’t want to hear… but are obviously are in crisis and can’t accept it. The fundamental problem with this club derives from your financial issues and until that is fixed, you guys are no longer a big club in Europe. I mean in name sake you are, but the big clubs and even the smaller ones in Europe no longer fear you guys. You can babble all you want about referees but don’t sit back and act like these decisions are going bad just for Barca bc that’s not true. Madrid had the final whistle literally blown in the midst of a goal agaisnt Valencia which is something we have NEVER seen before in football and other clubs in Spain have also experienced poor refereeing. And even the fact that you guys have the audacity to blame the refs while being investigated by the literal Spanish government for refereeing corruption is wild to me. On another note, you claim Madrid, city, the big clubs, etc… all get their players from having big budgets and while some of that is true, you guys have a bigger Net Spend than Real Madrid in the last ten years 😂😂😂 let that sink in… so to go pointing fingers saying “Madrid bought their success” is just crazy and insecure of you guys. It’s not anyone’s fault but yours that your transfers didn’t pan out and it ruined your club, that’s barcas fault and as soon as you realize that, you guys will b better off. Also… of the 20 teams in the first division of La Liga, only two teams voted not to raise Tebas pay, which was Real Madrid and Bilbao. Barcelona and everyone else voted to increase his wages so don’t go complaining about not having goal like technology if you’re voting to raise the man’s wages who doesn’t want it in his league 😂😂 Unfortunately, we live in an era of football where big transfers and higher transfers are happening and you need money to help boost your rosters and create a good team. We’ve seen Barcas La Masia players come and go being told that they’re the next Messi and looking at players like Fati and Puig, it doesn’t look so promising. You need to accept what you guys had from 2004-2015 may never be seen in world football ever again and if you don’t fix the club internally, and with the way Perez has structured his club and changed his whole approach and with mbappe coming next year, this will no longer be a rivalry like it used to be. Honestly I will say it again, Xavi did all he could do. If we should do an evaluation of his time here it was successful. However he has reached his limit. The group of players we have are great, one of the better squads we have assembled. However the squad will suffer if he stays. Decisions like rest Lewy, Starting Roque, being more aggressive in matches and stop sitting off when we gain a lead. Plus the constant fitness and injury problems. Not to mention some of the times he lost control of the dressing room. It's gonna cost us, and I feel players are gonna usffer under his hands and their development will be hindered. Roque especially. One thing for sure if Xavi doesnt like you, you aint getting no minutes
Kessie was a fine example, cuz there is no way Romeu was better than Kessie. Even Yusif and Riqui felt it. At one point Raphina felt it as well. Without injuries to key players some of these guys would never see the light of day. With a new coach everyone will know that they will start from 0, so they will have to put in the work

Yeah as a former LB/RB for my high school and club (ik very amateur but it proves my point more), I ALWAYS made sure there was no one sneaking out of my Peripheral vision when they were on the attack. I'd say it was 85% Cancelo's mistake, but if you replay it, you see Felix is watching as well and doesn't say anything to Cancelo about Vasquez running in. If I was Felix I'd simply yell "Cancelo, behind!" But again, definitely Cancelo's the major culprit

The referies have been good, the problem rigth now is that they are not going on Barcelonas side like they always have been

Joao Cancelo definitely dropped the ball in both of those big games but he has also HEAVILY contributed throughout our season, especially at a time when we lack quality fullbacks, let alone depth in that position. If you don't think we need to extend Cancelo, than I think there is no hope for you. We need Cancelo and Fort on the right, with Balde and someone else on the left.. The man has spent how many games forced to play out of position and has done far more good than bad with his time there.
