  1. The clubs, private broadcasters, and by extension the FAs sell their soul to these betting companies. Allow it to become an increasingly integral part of the sport, but then tear a player's career apart if they're caught betting. Like what did you expect? Do one.

    No sympathy to Newcastle, but plenty to the player.

  2. Is he not supposed to be banned from Al football activities? If he’s training and working with a football team doesn’t that mean he’s broken the ban…
