Nunez is not a forward they haven't got a forward .Liverpool have players who play up front that drift in and outside the box .More often than not outside the box .They come for the ball instead of making runs between the opposition defence.Suarez was the perfect example he wasn't a forward but he moved defenders about .He created his own space then Gerrard would thread the ball through to him .Nunez is the same as suarez and salah is .They need a Gerrard in midfield that plays through balls round the back of the defence. What's happening now at Liverpool is they've slowed their game going forward down .Meaning to many passes around the opposition box backwards then forwards.Andy Robertson if you watch him hardly ever throws a throw in forwards .He has more space on the left but he slows himself down .Then passes the ball back to van dyhk.Why because the forwards are not making runs moving the opposition defence about .Nunez does but he never receives the ball for him to run onto .Sarah at is best runs onto balls but all he does now is come back for it or just stands there.

Nunez has 2 world-class qualities. His speed and commitment (he never gives up).
His passing game and technique, on the other hand, are at best average. His finishing is just ridiculous and he makes the wrong decision far too often in the final third.
I dont get these Liverpool fans defending him all the time. Honestly, how low are your standards/expectations? We have a striker who cant score. You don't see a problem there?
Nunez is never going to be an out and out striker, he won't get us 20-30 Prem goals a season but he will win us games unexpectedly. Losing Jota on the run in, will and has possibly cost us the league. We do need another forward like Jota that can not only create chances and cause chaos like Nunez but ultimately be deadly in front off goal! Smash Palace tomorrow and hopefully those pair of shower of shites lose the weekend! YNWA!!
This team is not gonna score 4:0 vs Atalanta away, its just not gonna happen, cmon, they arent clinical enough. If they go forward like mad and score 4, I bet they let 2 or 3 in themselves, cause the defense is not good enough currently. Rest all starting XI and focus on Fulham, Everton, WHU away, 3 games in 7 days.
What good is Europa League title if we lose the Premier League? Especially since we are level on points, we need all the strength and attacking power in the league, not wasted on a 1:1000 chance of comeback to get in the semi-finals. If this was a semi-final vs Atalanta, then yes go for it, causes we would be in the final if we won. But thats not the case. If we win vs Atalanta we get two more games in the middle of May which we dont need.

Everything wrong with the media and English premiership followers in general. Looking down your nose at any team outside of the Premiership. It’s time you all stopped looking at your league with rose-tinted glasses and started giving other leagues the damn respect they deserve. It’s that exact way of thinking that caused Liverpool to get smashed, AT ANNFIELD, by a team containing Davide Zappacosta.
Nunez has many different uses but sadly one of those uses isn’t being a reliable and consistent goal scorer, 1 chance 1 goal type. When leagues are coming down to one point Nunez is not who you want to be relying on. Long term we need to give Gakpo the same minutes we gave Nunez this season to see if he can be that reliable goalscorer and if not then we must go find one in the market. My fears with Nunez earlier in the season is towards the end we would be in a match where one chance would come up and scoring a goal would mean the difference in a title and Nunez would miss, I assumed it would’ve been City we were trying to keep ahead of. Those Nunez misses against United were what I was afraid of.
I'm sorry I would much rather have prime time Sturridge that doesn't run around like a headless chicken and can finish his chances.

Nunez needs to miss 3 chances in order to score once. Jayden Danns needs to replace Nunez.

Diaz works hard, dribbles great, but doesn’t score anywhere near enough. Nunez averages 6/10 over the course of his high and low performances and doesn’t score anywhere near enough. The forward line needs a total refresh in the summer with a minimum of 2 starting forwards. Diaz and Nunez should be sold and Salah will probably want to leave. Construction time again.
Without nunez on the pitch it seems the team starts to struggle.
