Give Jonas grief for various reasons but l appreciate responses like his and the way he has reacted (both here and after Gareth Taylor’s accusations). Classy reaction and wanted to shift the attention to the players and focus on what happened on the pitch rather than this nonsense.
“I’m not allowed to shout but believe or not, I have other ways to communicate other than shouting.”. Acknowledges he’s aware of what’s being said about him and addresses that without attacking anyone in particular. Emma Hayes wasn’t even speaking in riddles, she was just talking out of her ass. It’s clear she knows she hasn’t got a leg to stand on after everything has since come to light.
Maybe that lesson meant for her son was learnt from Jonas because not meeting aggression with aggression and letting it go was exactly what he did. Personally I would want to see the club take some action when others slander our people because this is literally textbook defamation and actionable, but I can also see how it could fan the flames so eh, if Hayes wanted her last season to be a memorable one she sure as hell got her wish
