I'm sick of these constant over reactions every time we are defeated , last year it was Gomez after some poor performances and the abuse was terrible, now its gakpo . Gakpo was good last season but has had a few bad games, now the reactionary fans have decided Cody is rubbish . Its pathetic.
I wish people would stop using games played and start using mins played would give you a better understanding of who is playing better.
Using games played is like people who use net spend.

The stupidity of tbe bearded fella is astonishing.Why get rid of both LB for Chambers? The Bundesliga is not the PL. Chambers isn't better than Bradley and Bradley is looking more and more like a young player and not a 1st choice fullback.

Gakpo is not a bad player, he is a very good player, he's just not a klopp type player. Maybe he might work for another manager but I've never been a fan of his because he doesn't give me confidence that he will give everything for the team. He doesn't have that dog in him but his G/A is quite impressive for someone who's 5th choice. At the start of the season,, people we're saying Gakpo is so important and needs to start over Nunez and its mad how people just done a U-turn on him. He's played like this since he's been here so idk what people were seeing before

Regarding Gakpo I think him and diaz will be cashed in by edwards. I think the diaz links that have been happening are early Edwards work. Edwards and hughes laptops will find replacements with better hitting stats .
Gakpo wasn’t signed has 5th choice that’s because he’s failing
The team were crap against Utd. They couldn't hold on to the ball for any length of time. They just kept giving it away. In the last 15 minutes of normal time, with the score 2 : 1 to LFC, all we had to do is hold on to the ball and pass it around, keep it moving. We couldn't do that. We made it an open game by giving the ball away all the time. We needed to just hold the ball for long spells and take the heat out of the game. Now, the forwards particularly were shambolic and especially Gakpo. We can't afford strikers who can't score. I'm sure one of the young boys could have stepped up and put some of those chances away. I'm not using Gakpo as a scapegoat. The team were bad. GaKpo gets highlighted because he missed the chances., good chances.
The one thing to take away, a positive, from this game, is we created lots of scoring chances even though we played crap. Even Salah, the last two games his passing has been awful. The whole team lost it against Utd. Why? No idea. I hope Klopp can get them back on track. Let's hope it was something stupid like the upcoming international break that distracted them.
Loosing super in form Jota after Salah injury and loss of form and fitness to this freak injury incident impact our season the most .There is no way with Jota fit we lost against Utd .If he start or come in 60 minutes it will not matter. We will win it him .

current system is hurting Diaz 4me, 4 lots of the season , needs sum1 overlapping..he hasnt had robbo or tsimikas overlapping him to take extra defender away for large chunk a season, when joey g plays Lbk(wich i hate) he gets so isolated on the left & has no1 to link ofa..happened vs yanited, was good 4me 1st 70, lookin dangerous, put big chance on plate 4robbo etc..the double sub then killed us, fumin at the time, robbo+salah subs, we lost all our shape after that, Diaz was so isolated after that & went out of the game..tink wen trent is back + inverting & we get Lbk OverLapping consistently, we will get best outa Diaz 4me, player like Diaz is crucial 4teams to get u up pitch under pressure wit his dribbling/running power, being dangerous on counter or win free kick (a ball carrier) Leao does it 4 Milan, Vini Jnr does it 4 Real.M etc..not all bout G+A..
on Gakpo, wat frustrates me most , is he dnt move enough into good positions where team-mates HAVE to pass to him, he just stands & waits 4 ball to come2him, he still plays like the LW Creator he was at PSV, just standin on Wing waitin 4ball then he does his Dribble, cuts inside n shoots or crosses..i noticed this so early wit Gakpo & i cnt believe klopp or coaches hav not just had a word wit Gakpo tellin him to move around more & get into positions where team-mates have to pass him the ball so he can link play alot more..tiz mad he touches ball & we dnt see him touch ball again 4 another 20-25mins even wit us havin 60-65% possession..Gakpo starts workin harder lookin 4ball in possession to link, he can still b a success cuz u can see he has quality but Klopp/Coaches need to hava Word, its gone on 4too long..Lotta Fans acting Spoilt btw these days, gets on my last nerve…5x 1st team International Level Forwards all in double figures , when hav we ever had this level of quality depth in Prem Era??? but all i see is criticism, sell him, get outa my club etc like its Football Manager whenever sum1 doesnt score or misses a chance…SMH
diaz can go today personally i think injuries n the coaching killed his spark so we should replace with a more direct winger with end product but i really can see gakpo doing well under a alonso because the system is more about ability rather than intensity

I think the United players cam into that game knowing how big it was because they've been their for a while. Our new boys including Gakpo relaxed and just didn't play knowing we both really hate each other.
I was watching a you tube video with coutinio mane firminio Salah our attacking players under klopp,coutinio he played on the left and central midfielder watching him with his flair tricks he was phenomenal but he wasnt just flair and tricks and vibes was end product finishing free kicks his assists and passing scoring golas people forget how good he was. Mane firminio salah we dont need to even speak about them we all know . I didn't realise at the time how lucky we where in the klopp era to have the calibre of forwards we did . Output wins games this is why jota coming back is crucial.
