Benerama, does sweet FA!
To play our B/C team and to come away with a win, 3 points to win the group & a clean sheet it isn’t a bad job done. BUT we gotta be more clinical in the final third and stop making silly passes and start taking more shots. I do like Emerson & Coufal but my goodness they lack pace and our play down the wings was poor. I’m happy to see Fornals playing more Central than playing down the left wing as he also has no pace. I didn’t see no point in Soucek coming on when Coventry was having a good game + Downes was on. But overall I am happy that we got European football in 2023 let’s hope we can continue our form for the final game of the group.
H2H Against Untied – PLD 52 – W 7 – D 13 – L 32. Untied isn’t having the best start to the season & having some drama off the pitch. They also have a few key players injured. Just like the Liverpool game it’s a game that we can capitalise in if we do take our chances correctly.
I don't think the pen was "iffy" at all, to be honest. Antonio had no chance of doing anything with the ball BUT the keeper HAS made contact and brought him down. The Laws are clear that it is a foul regardless of the outcome…. obviously IF it's a "clear goal scoring opportunity denied" then it is a red card, BUT the offence of foul has still been committed regardless of any opportunity. Frustrating night again, because we really should have ruined them before half time. Comfortable win in the end. COYI

The penalty came from the assist of Benny and the attempt from Antonio , I keep saying it again and again these two players are crucial .
Without being bias that got us the winning goal.
