  1. That season he was actually unplayable. I remember watching highlights every single week and he was scoring screamers on the regular. Could not defend against him. Crazy to think he’s a golfer now

  2. Haland is ridiculously overrated. Idc how many goals he wants to score in the group stages of the champions league or against lower half teams in the prem, he’ll never become the GOAT.

  3. He won the player of the year that year but actually Suarez was the one who shoulve won it, all stays were better and he was on fire, but got snubbed because of the acvusation made against him, a political vote. The following year he had an even better year and rightfully won it. Bale was great but Suarez was better

  4. Imagine if Spurs had kept Bale, Modric, Kane all together and never sold any of those three, Spurs would've won the Champions league in 2019 and possibly one other time.

  5. Spurs is my club's derby rival but I have to admit, I watched almost all of Gareth Bale's games, he was the closest to Cristiano Ronaldo we ever with his physique, the way he dribbled, his free kick, long range shot, he was amazing. What a legend
