  1. Cody Gakpo has been in absolutely terrible form as of lately. There is consistently a drop off when he comes on or when he starts. BUT..I'm not totally ready to sell him. If he finishes the season like this, then yes we need to sell him for the value that we can go after a different young attacker. We have to admit though in the United game.. Nunez, Elliot, and Gomez were all terrible.

  2. Gakpo just needs to up the level; Carragher is right, Cody just jogs up and down the pitch rather than running. I like him as a player, but just need him to push on.

  3. Gakpo hasn't been good this season. He looked really tired on Sunday probably due to Klopp stupidly playing such an unnecessarily strong team on Thursday. That didn't help Salah, Endo or Dom either.

  4. I don't understand the idea of selling Kostas, he is not there to become number one left back, not sure where did you get that idea. Kostas is happy being a replacement and he has done ok when Robertson is injured, in fact he has had a bunch of assists and honestly is more consistent with his delivery, very dangerous from corners and set pieces (far more than Robertson these days).

  5. Love your vids love your passion. Listen I’m from Liverpool so yeah Sunday hurt. Cody wasn’t good but we Liverpool wasn’t good in the end. We need to walk away do international shite then go again. We can’t lose at Utd in 3 weeks Klopp lads won’t let that happen 👍

  6. I think we may need to reconsider our options up top in the summer. I’m not convinced with Diaz at all. He works hard, he carries the ball and nice dribble and all that stuff, but the end product is so poor. In the final third where it matters, he either puts in a poor cross, picks a wrong pass, or takes too many touches before a shot. He costed us so many points this season!

  7. Selling Kostas would be stoopid. Gakpo was a strange buy or at least we had a period of strange buys: Gakpo, Nunez, Diaz, Carvalho ALL play similar roles. From the left cutting in… Like a reverse Sallah.. Why the F did we load up that side like that? Especially when you look at how we neglected other areas. In a WAY, our success has been in spite of our signings eg Klopp being able to extract more out of them as a team. Gakpo for me is OK. Probably an idea to remember where he is in the pecking order of a front 3 (Sallah, Nunez, Diaz, Jotta….. Gakpo….) 13 goals in a season which hasn't finished and is apparently a very bad one….

  8. Re: Gakpo's most comfortable position. What is it? I don't think there's anywhere in the front 6 that doesn't have a nailed-on starter. Would he be content to be a backup?

  9. You want to Sell Kostas in a heart beat but keep Gakpo?😂 You got chokes 😂😂….Gakpo fails the eye test, easily…He's slow, can't run behind…tall but useless in the air, decision making poor, not good at linkup or hold up play, just not a Liverpool player!!!! 100% SELL GAKPO

  10. We've seen his quality so we know what he's capable of. He's having a bad time atm but bearing in mind his age, we've got to keep him.

Robbo is rapidly on the decline… I'd let him go before anyone. Been a great player, appreciate his service and great around the team but can't see him getting anywhere near his old self. Gakpo is the scapegoat for that utd result… it was the whole team, and the managers fault… in game management was shocking, on and off the pitch and I question Klopp and VVD for that. All have bad days but they certainly did against UTD. All allowed an off day – just wish it wasn't against Utd.

  11. Why blame any individual player? 3/4 of the team not in the game against MU. Bad day at the office will happen once a while to any team. Let's move on.

  12. For me Gakpo is good enough to have in the squad..As for Kostas if we sell him we have no backup for Robertson..Maybe he wont be a No.1 left back but he is certainly good enough to keep..

  13. Klopp just loves to play Gakpo everywhere that isn't his natural position, even if Diaz isn't playing he puts Nunez LW instead – like this guy just cant catch a break.

  14. Gakpo is not the problem here, it was not because of him that the team scored four goals. Klopp simply looks at it, for some reason he didn't send the C team on the field against the Prague team. Why not? Now the team could prepare against Coventry…

  15. My take

Gakpo: Slow despite young 😮, poor ball control, unintelligent = Sell him

    Nunez: Unintelligent

Great strikers are very intelligent by nature with great ball control, calmness in front of goal, pace would a plus ie Rush, Fowler, Owen, Torres, Suarez, Sturridge, potentially Jota too

Afraid Nunez does not possess it.

We should scout for new attackers to replace both IMO.

  16. Our fans can be morons sometimes like.

Just for a bit of context:

Gakpo – 14 total goals (in all comps) compared to:

    Saka – 16
    Son – 14
    Martinelli – 8
    Rashford – 8
    Hojlund – 13
    Jesus – 8
    Doku – 5
    Grealish – 3
    Garnacho – 7
    Richarlison – 11
    Kulusevski – 6
    Sterling – 8
    Mudryk – 6
    Jackson – 12

Now tell me again that Gakpo is a flop?!!

Golden child Saka plays every single game for Arsenal, in his proper position and Gakpo only has TWO less goals than him?!!

Son, one of the best players in the world apparently, Gakpo has the SAME goals as him but he's a flop🤔.

Now think about the plaudits and praise players like martinelli, Jesus, Grealish, Sterling, Kulusevski, Garnacho, Hojlund etc get… GAKPO HAS SCORED MORE THAN ALL OF THEM WHILE PLAYING OUT OF POSITION.

It's actually embarrassing how certain narratives are set for Liverpool players.

It's the same with Nunez, he's scored 17 goals this season and assisted 14. That's an amazing return! That's more than Saka, Son, Alvarez, Foden, Hojlund, Rashford, Sterling, etc but the pundits still say this same narrative of "he's chaos on the pitch but his end product isn't good enough" Sorry what? You seen his numbers?? Embarrassing man.

  17. Gakpo is too slow and too greedy. He slows play down, then does a little silly "shimmy" where he rapidly taps his feet right before shooting, its obvious AF what he is about to do, he looks like he is not interested and iv never seen him break a sweat. Reminds me of a.martial
