Wales need a proper striker. Bale and Ramsey while not strikers contributed alot of goals. Without that level of players they need to develop better strikers.

Wojciech Szczęsny is a very good goalkeeper, it was certain that if it went to penalties, the Welsh would be stopped by Szczęsny.
Dan James whole body demeanour screamed he was going to miss that penalty. I called it as soon as he walked up.
Flabby Gabby couldn’t even get more than 3 England caps
He’s a professional footballer and he’s taking a penalty from 12 yards out, you score some and you miss some. Unfortunately he missed. End of. I’ve seen centre backs with a lot less technical ability than Dan James and they’ve scored. Penalties are like that. So chill out Gabby Agbonlahor

I expected him to miss as well. As soon as I saw him walking up. Not how he looked or anything like that, I just don't rate him for taking a penalty. I blame the manager because if I can see it, he definitely should have.

The problem with Daniel James is that when he runs at you he's a force to be reckoned with but when he has to slow down and think on the ball he's that's when he runs into difficulty and seems confused that's why he doesn't make a good penalty taker he was always going to miss and David Edwards is deluded this is a limited side compared to the 2016 side which had a lot of Premier League players and a Bale and Ramsey in their prime
