🚨 We can confirm that today’s Barclays Women’s Super League fixture between Aston Villa and Arsenal will now kick off at 7.30pm. This decision has been taken due to travel disruption affecting our arrival time. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused to supporters by the late change.

Maybe it was out of our control, but the optics aren’t great having an issue causing a delay two game weeks in a row🫣

According to Instagram the specific issue is that there were crashes on both the M1 and the M40 so literally nothing we could do about it

  4. So a game i couldnt care less about has been moved.. brilliant 🤣 after the delay last time out against chelsea this looks laughable

  5. To me this just confirms the power u/shelbyj wields – causing delays to catch the entire game.

  6. Unfortunately sometimes you cannot control traffic even with enough planning ahead (living in LA this happens everyday 😒)

It does suck though that they will probably have been sitting on that bus for 3-4 hours and then have to rush into warm ups. Let’s hope it does not get into their heads like last game’s fiasco and and can remain composed and come out firing like they did last Villa game.
