  1. Wonderful performance. Why oh why has Moyes held this team back for so long? 10 Prem games left, release the shackles now Moyes! Alvarez and Kudus are monsters. Clubs will come sniffing now 👎COYI

  2. Moyes will never change, just watch our next game against Villa . We had only 39% possession tonight with 11 shots at goal to Freiburg’s 10 . Some fans get really sucked in by the goal scored, and fail to appreciate Freiburg are hardly a good test. Liverpool slaughtered Sparta Prague tonight playing a few youngsters and absolutely dominating possession. The quality of Kudus,Paquetta and Bowen are giving a false impression about our performances. We get Liverpool next round it’s the end of our tournament, the stats will be awful , proper backs to the wall stuff.

  3. Really pleased for Cresswell. He is past his best and 2nd string to Emerson but he has been a great servant for us. I hope we do right by him in the Summer.
    He deserves it.⚒

  4. just how good are Kudus and Alvarez? Terrible commentary on BT, congratulating Moyse and his backroom staff for the success of the youth team, mentioned the final at the emirates, a final that Moyse wasn't present at.

  5. We shouldn't get carried away, I was expecting us to hammer them when the draw was made, but we didn't do our business in Germany, Freiburg are not a good side, however the boys done what was expected of them tonight, but I was always nervous of our defence, I feel if we strengthen that in the summer and bring in a striker and left winger, we would be very hard to beat.

  6. Moyes just said he always sets his team up to be in front foot and always win if that's the case he should show players what he means because that doesn't make any sense. He must watch games with rose glassed spectacles 😮😮 coyi

  7. I think we have to give credit to Antonio and his running how he makes It hard for defenders and makes space for bowen kudus etc such a shame alvares got booked he was immense…now we need Philips to fill his boots next round coyi

  8. Bro,i watched you the other time saying Antonio should be use,is sad how supporters many times have better view than the manager himself.I see amazing individual brilliance in the West ham team and they need to be managed well

  9. Geo you are right statistics don't tell the whole story. Freiburg had 61% of the ball tonight, would you have guessed that from the play? They got one shot on target all night.

This was not a repeat of Brighton, but we were clinical. That was the difference. You are also correct that the front 4 have not been available for a lot of this season. We all would have liked to see this quartet and they were not always available. Kudus was at AFCON, Paqueta out for a month, Antonio out for two months.

Now they are back and in form at the right time. We just have to manage them so they are available for the big games.

  10. Why are people still saying Moyes out?? You idiots. That was a fantastic game. The Kudus dribble!!! Some are saying why can't they play like that in the league – well, maybe, it would help them to do that, if us lot gave them the same atmosphere that they got tonight, it was electric.

  11. Is it really that difficult to understand that if we played more regularly like we did tonight and against Brentford then there wouldnt be any Moyes out calls. Do I want or expect to see us play like that against City Liverpool Arsenal no of course not do I want or expect us to play like that against bottom half teams at home…yes. If Moyes could get that balance right we’d prob all be on the same page.

  12. for Cresswell's goal, it was not so much how he hit the corner but if you watch from behind, he actually hits the bottom side of the ball, which loops it over the defenders leg and then hits the bottom corner.

  13. I was so nervous before kickoff, but deep down I know we should be beating teams like this. I think it was good we we were one nil down as there's not to think about gameplan wise. We have to attack and win.

One of the performances of the season. I hope the penny has dropped that attack is the best form of defence against poorer sides.

    That Kudus goal…

  14. Draw tomorrow I am telling you now we get liverpool. I keep telling people ‘ who’s more intimidating Bayern Munich or liverpool’ they say liverpool – it’s a freak tournament where there’s one of the best teams in the world is in the competition

  15. So much for my feeling sick before the game, and not feeling it,after that wonderful resulted unwarranted.Actually it turns out I failed a blood test and maybe me feeling sick is a result of illness, hopefully not to sinister. The performance last night was a nice tonic though, some outstanding performances, let’s hope we take this performance into the Prem league and consolidate 7th position.
Freiburg were poor as they were last week, but we shouldn’t mistake the fact we made them look very poor and battered them.

  16. This game shows West Ham as a team can take on anyone when they press. We assume Moyes chose the team and tactics. So he knows what to do. He can attack! Then Sunday against Villa Moyes will frustrate the hell out of the fans again by going back to play not to lose. Defend defend defend! Moyes mate. You have the players. You can play a way that wins big and pleased fans! Why not continue!!

  17. Kudus is also such a nice guy. He asks the guy if he can take his stool for the celebration and then thanks him after 😂 all that talent and so humble, what a role model.

  18. UEFA Europa League filmed an advert with Jarrod Bowen called Rise Up. It was Bowen talking about his career and West Ham’s time in Europe, it was nearly 5 minutes long and I watched every second of it.

Wow. What a performance last night, you know what, if we played like that week in week out, there would be no Moyes out or in debates. We showed passion and desire to win the game from the off. Antonio made us tick, maybe Moyes and us have missed Antonio this season. Kudus channeling his inner Messi, fucking unreal player. We battered them and they could handle us. Correct me if I’m wrong but I think that’s the first time we have scored 5 under Moyes. COYI. Hopefully we get Atalanta or Benfica, think we’ll have a chance against those two. Liverpool v Leverkusen is the tie everyone wants.

  19. I'm Moyes out and always will be but credit where its due on a brilliant performance tonight. My question is this then – Given Frieburg are not much better than Burnley, why does he set up like this tonight with the results for all to see, yet gutlessly sets up in Moyesball against Burnley at home with the result we go 2 down by half time? Why does he do that? It makes no sense to me whatsoever. All the fans want is the type of football played tonight. Thats it, this style of play. Not against City, Scouse and perhaps Arsenal, they're too good to play that way, but against everybody else why not? We're clearly good enough and have the players to do so. He's either that narcissistically stubborn or that stupid and he's not a stupid man surely?
