Gregg Berhalter has named a strong USMNT Roster for the CONCACAF Nations League semi-final v Jamaica and potentially Mexico or Panama in the final. All the stalwarts are there, including Christian Pulisic, Gio Reyna, Weston McKennie, Folarin Balogun and Ricardo Pepi, while Josh Sargent and Tyler Adams make their returns. Brenden Aaronson is left out.

Who doesn't think Pepi should be there? Greg tried to bury Pepi's career and he just got stronger.
As an atl United fan and Atlanta resident. Miles Robinson is not a good player. He's just not.
Hell would freeze over before Berhalter switches to a back 3 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️ and I don't get the Tyler Adams call up, yes I get that he's a leader and he was our best number 6 before all his injury problems. But that's the reason I don't get the call up, he's coming back from a long injury recovery, he's not particularly in form, so you're bringing a player that has been out of football for a while and dropping him in an important match to go to the final, personally I wouldn't do it, I love Adams and has been a great player for us for many years but I would just wait until he's really ready to play in these important matches. And you have other options behind Cardoso, Richards can play CDM, Busio, Maloney and Morris. They're all young and matches can benefit them, sitting on the bench and experiencing these matches.
When You need a goal in the 90th minute and the ball is being served in…wait not Vasquez!?. Same old.
Matt Turner can also play right back
Tyler Adams is 25 years old.
At least the mls quota is only 2 not 5😂
FC Cincinnati would be bottom half of the Championship league in England maybe. Sheffield, Forest, Luton any of the bottom 6 in the prem would destroy Cincy
Every week I lose more and more respect for Marsh. I think he see's all players as if they were in his system and can't see them any other way.
Sargent can also play right wing
I wonder if Miles plays at all and is bad is it his last camp if Trusty is still "ok" in the Prem?
Liga Mx is not that far off the dutch league to be honest lmaoo. Dutch league just farms talent but as of recently it has declined in quality
I think you slightly underrate Sargent. He actually might be the best striker in the Championship. No way Haji is anywhere near him.
Take out De La Torre. He brings nothing to the team.
Tyler Adams can play right back and he is 25 years old not 20 as in the graphic.
Does Gios national team defense ever pose a problem. Why do clubs think so?
Paredes is talented.
I’d take miles over mark every single time imo, so yeah I would have taken trusty too but it would be over McKenzie. Then CCV when healthy would be my top 4 CB’s. Ccv ream Richards trusty
Let’s not act like one CB here or there is a big deal. I’d take trusty too, and I would have left Adam’s in England to rehab too and brought parades, but these rosters are sooo much improved I’m not going to complain about them. Yeah I hate Gregg as much as the next guy but this is a little harsh on the wrong aspects, gotta focus more on his lack of tactical flexibility now not his rosters.
I’ve been arguing with people since this roster came out with them insisting Vasquez should be in it because he is playing well in ligaMX. Sad that people can’t understand levels of leagues.
The only thing I would have potentially done differently is take Haji over Tyler Adams. We have enough cover at midfield, but need more cover in the attack
This is a good roster overall. The only miss, in my opinion, is Trusty. What does that guy have to do to get a decent look? If Brooks isn't an option, and Ream is starting to age out, wouldn't it behoove us to check out a left-footed CB who is not only a Premier League starter, but who also won player of the season for Birmingham last year in the Championship? Personally, I would have brought him over McKenzie.
I hope you're wrong, Pete, about Miles. I hope that he won't become the new Long. Just to play devil's advocate, it's possible that this may be "last chance saloon" for him. He had a poor season last year for Atlanta, but that was also with his contract/transfer issue hanging over his head, in addition to the fact that he was just coming back from that terrible achilles injury. I'm trying to be patient with him, and I think the coaching staff is as well, but if he doesn't perform in this camp, he may still get Copa, but that could be it.
Last thing, I know Maloney is injured at the moment, but with our considerable depth at midfield and lack thereof along the back line, should we perhaps be looking at Maloney as a potential backup CB option? That's the position he primarily played before the Heidenheim move. Again, with Ream likely on the way out after Copa, CCV's injury struggles, Miles not really being at the same level post injury, Brooks banned, and honestly, I never really have rated McKenzie (or the Belgian league for that matter), the pickens are slim. Perhaps he could be a versatile Geoff Cameron type, or a better version of what they hoped James Sands would be. Just a thought…
Props to Gregg for seemingly learning from the WC roster selection mistakes. The big question is, will the tactics suit our player's strengths? Because if they don't, this whole discussion about roster selection is kind of pointless.
Pete . Vasquez needs to be tested with a team . He did find in gold cup
Vasquez offers a big frame doing well in liga Mx . Liga MX is still better than MLS . MLS got destroyed yesterday. Please Pete stop this silly argument that mls is at part with MX
How is this an excellent roster when he had three players that have not played regularly? Reyna, Adams, Weah.
No need for a 3rd RB. Scally is solid for first match. Dest is back for second. No problem.
Sadly, McKenzie would have been cut if CCV were available. I would put Trusty and McKenzie both ahead of Miles, of course.
Damn Tyler Adams de-aged wild.
That PSV match was brutal, Luuk de Jong just didn't have it.
Tyler Adams is 25 years old my guy.
Where are MORRIS and ROLDAN?
Can someone help me understand why this game is happening in TX instead of Florida, where the Jamaican population is enormous?
Listen to this podcast to hear some dude trash talk everyone he can find fault with. Thumbs down adding to ignore list
You could probably move Lund out right if injury happens as well, I rate Lund as a player and think he could be a very good player in Europe in the long run. Maloney can play cb aswell and once team goes I say bring in trusty, maloney, ccv, richards, mkenzie, because you’re bringing 4 cbs with maloney who can be listed as a midfielder or play cb if need be.
Jamaica will beat to USA believe it❤
