Some may have seen West Ham’s injury time victory against Everton as daylight robbery, and perhaps it was. But The hammers still had some excellent players and Edson Alvarez and Alphonse Areola were sensational. The Mexican midfielder capped a brilliant display with and expertly taken goal worthy of Chicharito. But his all round game was superb prompting comparisons with Declan Rice.
Whilst the West Ham news may well be saturated with reports of Tomas Soucek’s wonder goal, it was another Hammers midfielder who stole the show for me.

David Moyes is relying on individual brilliance from class players in an expensive team ⚒⚒⚒⚒
I don't think we were lucky. When they tried to score we (including Areola, who is, after all, a member of out team) stopped them; when we tried to score they couldn't stop us.
Kris you watch the substituted players as they walk off the pitch and they come in the vicinity of Moyes. They almost take a beeline away from where Moyes is standing just so they don't have to be manhandled by him. I'm convinced the team are playing for the club. Playing for the fans, and playing for pride. They are not playing for Moyes. I'm also of the feeling Moyes has told the squad in confidence that he is leaving at the end of the season, hence the upturn in form. Sorry not form, results.

It was mainly awful and had Everton been able to finish / Areola not been in top form we’d have shipped like against Fulham or Arsenal !

Christ people get easily carried away. It's 2 wins… much needed wins but it's still only 2 wins and both were against teams that are fighting to stay out of the relegation zone and neither were even clean sheets! The next team with a worse goal difference is Bournemouth in 13th. The way some are carrying on, you'd think we'd just spanked a top 6 team 4-0!!

The best thing West Ham fans can do is not even engage in the baiting by the media. You should use this platform to encourage people not to call in to talk sport. They are only doing it to get listeners by creating some drama. No matter how rational the argument for not wanting to keep watching the absolute garbage that we’ve been playing under Moyes, they will never get it and only make us out to be the bad guys.
The format of Saturdays game is how we’ve got almost all of our wins this season and some of last. I cannot remember dominating a single game where you can see we deserved the win based on first and second half performances
Any decent ratings will be based on the second half and also if you watched on TV, in the second half Heitinger was, on more than one occasion, advising Moyes what to do. Food for thought??
Well done Moyes for sticking with Soucek, but please use him properly for more than 20 mins. He can defend well, as seen by the off line clearance, that made a great difference, but he is an attacking midfielder. Let him attack the majority, rather than the minority, of the game, and the goals will come more often.
Refereeing and VAR needs an over hall, due to inconsistency. Fouls given in one game, ignored in others, players going over softly given free/penalty kicks, while others eg Kudus, stay on his feet, but are impeded from scoring get nothing. Then you get obvious mistakes apologised for later, but the points are lost, and no repercussion to the ref. concerned. Football is a business, and in business these errors do not go unpunished. It is time to take action.
The only way Moyes Out will change, is if he does a complete U turn, changes to attacking football, more entertaining, and can achieve this successfully by winning. This will never happen.
