Im loving that nobody is behind Rory. He talks complete sense and Chelsea will continue to buy players for £100m and turn them into £20m players. Potch couldnt win a thumb war and it couldnt happen to a nicer club. Highlight of the 2023/24 season by some measure. Love it. Same again next year please

Rory like many others still think we're in the Abramovich era and the truth is this a completely new club being rebuilt from top to bottom so you can't expect the same results, I'd rather look a the future and hope for better days. Up the Blues!

As a Chelsea fan, Rory is such an embarrassment to our fanbase. Most Chelsea fans are smart enough to recognise that this will take time. Roman Abramovich's last couple of years were a mixed bag to say the least. Recruitment was generally poor (Ziyech, Werner, Havertz, Pulisic among the list of horrific signings) and aside from Tuchel masterminding us to a Champions League, we hadn't achieved anything significant for a few years. Abramovich's way of running a club was becoming outdated and was always going to need to change.
What Boehly and co have done, for all their mistakes, is invest in long-term prospects on the field and put talented people in charge of recruitment to create a modern style of club management. There are some really good signs under Poch. This squad is far too young and are performing with no experience to lean on. Poch is getting a much better tune out of this group than anyone else could, and he deserves time to build this club back to success
