  2. there’s a difference between being guilty of adultery and sexual assault. He easily could have been taken advantage of for being guilty of adultery and not wanting to leave his wife, then not having the proper legal sense or counsel to stick to the truth/one consistent story. The bottom line is that you don’t know if he did it and I don’t either. The best we can do is the legal system which takes advantage of errors in judgment by both victims and accused. In this case the accused made major mistakes in his testimony, and based on his rationale, he was initially fearful about his wife finding out. Since they divorced, that is 100% credible. After they divorced anyways, for him to change the story that it was consensual is also credible. Do either you or I know this is true? No. The trauma evidence was disputed by independent experts and can also be doctored. There is a moderate line to take between believe all women, believe women when the evidence is overwhelming, and to also understand that on occasion women take advantage of the emotional and financial incentive to falsely accuse well to do men. The fact is that people lie when they are nervous of getting in trouble, even when they have done nothing wrong. Countless psychological studies have proven this. Police interrogation and brutality proves this, which is why those tactics are not consistently useful and lead to false convictions, often against minorities. So regardless of whether Alves is guilty, your assumption that his inconsistent story proves it, or makes it more likely, is a fallacy. All it proves is that he was not used to or expecting to deal with law enforcement, as he was very naive to the process.

  3. I'm from Spain and I don't know if he actually commited a crime here or not (I don't know the guy so I'm not assuming anything), but let me tell you, I've read the whole sentence today (all sentences are publicly accessible in Spain) and even the judges that compose the tribunal admit that the girl that accussed him of r4pe lies in all her account about how things were going before she entered the toilet to meet him, and they say that her story doesn't even make sense (like her claiming she didn't know that door leads you to a private toilet). They say her whole depiction of her being disgusted by him making advances on her doesn't match at all what the CCTV cameras recorded, where she was doing sexual dances on him AFTER he had repeatedly touched her bum, and apparently, after being "disgusted" she went to lay her arm on his shoulders. Then she claimed that the fact that she followed him into the private toilet was to let him know how disgusted she was of his actions (but at the same time she says that she was scared of him and his friends of retaliating outside the club in case they rejected the guys… and yet she allegedly decided to follow him by herself! LOL). The tribunal says that's all BS and that given all the CCTV videos it's clear as day that she followed him to have some "privacy"… So they basically admit she lies in a big chunk of her account, and yet. instead of dropping her whole account as evidence (since it's proven unreliable) they magically decide to BELIEVE ALL THE REST of her account, which conveniently happens to be the one not supported by any video evidence and where all the circumstancial evidence is perfectly compatible with a consensual s3xual encounter. WHAT A JOKE! And the thing is this is not the first time in Spain that in a high profile r4pe case they give prison time with no proper evidence supporting it and were the main evidence is the victim's account even though it's proven unreliable, either because it's proven she lied or she drastically changed her account (which is also grounds to be considered unreliable).

  5. You people have no idea what these people are like in real life you create this fantasy to suit your own need and purposes this people in private had bad temperaments the show the media one thing and they are something completely different so let's no pretend than the man is not guilty because he said so evidence shows otherwise
