I was a Depay fanboy when I was 15 and he’s one of the reasons besides RVP that I became a United fan.
He’s not United quality. It will be better for him and for United if he goes elsewhere. Tbh, I’d love it if he went to an arsenal or a Chelsea. He’d be decent but he wouldn’t elevate them.
We need a forward, Memphis loved United, and we should be able to get him dirt cheap. So since it makes sense there's no chance we'll get him. I would love to have him back to redeem his reputation after LVG wasted him. Sign a player who (at the time) was all about being a dangerous speedy winger all about running in behind, and then refuse to play any through balls so Memphis only ever got given the ball with a 5 yard pass when he already had two defenders on him, and no space to run into.
