  1. Bruno playing in the advanced right half space would be ideal. Similar to Jonas Hoffman at Leverkusen. Dalot can provide the width down the right hand side and they already have a good understanding on the field. Our centre back department may not be equipped to handle such a system though.

  2. Bruno needs to be rested later in the games. It would really help if we actually had a more than a one goal lead going into the 70th minute so that we could bring on Ericsson and calm the game down same thing with Casimiro being subbed off for Amrabat. We have not been great at rotation and we can’t keep bringing Scott on to get control of a match or maintain control of a match. He is the definition of chaos.

  3. Best player bought after fergie left year on year tho someone complaines about him BUT he never gets a rest, if he was rested more we would see a better bruno, we will miss him/his reliability when he's gone

  4. My argument with Bruno is he's not a midfielder !!!!! He reminds me of Zola who was great on the ball but a liability off the ball. You need to have 3 midfielders who are all capable of winning the ball, be able to get up and down the pitch all game and dominate the midfield, Bruno can't do that!!! Why is there this obsession of needing a creative midfielder ? Mainoo, Casemiro and McTominay are all capable of passing the ball forward to the front 3 who will cause ANY team problems. Playing Bruno in midfield is leaving United 4-2-4 we all can see it!!! Luton had over 20 shots. United games are like basketball games as the midfield is left exposed as it's outnumbered. You don't need Bruno so far forward!! Drop him and go 4-3-3 with 3 proper midfielders.

  5. Sell him this summer. 30 years old and on the wane. He still tries passes that are silly, when an easier and more effective pass is on, except now his goals and assists have dried up.

  6. Bruno doesn’t score or assist in a couple of games all of a sudden he’s a problem we don’t win any of the last few games without him. Look at Bruno during games and you’ll see how much he does even with the poor passes, half the time he has to tell the players around him where to pass to actually make an attacking attempt every player deserves criticism but the Bruno hate is over the top at times the video wasn’t needed because EVERY PLAYER HAS BEEN POOR

  7. If we had a player ala Haaland or Salah or even Watkins this season, Bruno would have at least 10-15 assists per season. He's created over 70 chances in 3 full seasons. He's arguably the most important player in the entire squad along with Martinez

  8. We need to cut the canopy out of this team so others flourish! Our best players are clearly not good enough to compete at the top of the game. my hope is that the new structure being put in place is in sentimental, and can recognize when players need to be moved on.

  9. The sooner we sell him, the better our style of play will be. Same can be said about rashford. Sooner the better. Time of bruno and rashford era needs to end. We ain't winning league titles with them 2 starting week in week out.

  10. The thing is i don't actually know who you'd give the armband to if you took it from Bruno. He's one of the more experienced players in the squad (Onana, Licha, Mount, Mainoo, Antony, Hojlund are all too green imo), and anyone who's been there longer than him is quite young or in trouble with the club to an extent (Dalot, Rashford, etc.). Yes you have Casemiro and Varane, but Casemiro's not had the greatest season either and Varane is somewhat on the outs with Ten Hag last I heard, plus he's rather injury prone so I think the main question is if its not Bruno, then who takes the armband. Also for context I don't think you replace Bruno because he is the logical captain of the squad and he seems to be a leader in the locker room but yes his performances haven't been great lately.

  11. I have to be honest on mount, I don’t rate him, never have, I hope I’m proved wrong when he’s back from injury but I don’t see where he fits in, yeah we can rotate him and Bruno but did we really spend that money on mount to be backup? I don’t actually get what the plan was for him because he’s not a player that looks good in a double pivot so it’s a bizarre signing to me

  12. Heyup. As an aside to this topic, what do you think about Brahim Diaz? With Mbappe heading to Real, Diaz will be a benchwarmer for them but a good option for United. We would have to pay extra as a Manchester club as City specifically put that in the sell on clause, but it would be worth it. He can play as a lone striker or in a pair and on the right wing. Great attitude and unfairly overlooked by our rivals. He’s the type of player who could burst out of the traps from the start and help galvanise an exciting young team. And even with the sell on clause he wouldn’t cost the earth. It’s worth a look.

  13. It’s undeniable that he’s played a hell of a lot of football but what I really notice is that he’s more of a threat to those sitting behind the goal than to the goalkeepers …

  14. love bruno but don't think he will be the one to bring us back to the top. For all the chances he creates, he has his weaknesses too like dribbling and don't ever see him use his left foot. His willingness to take risks can kill us sometimes. is mount his replacement? who tf knows idk why we bought him. Love for bruno to stay with us and play well into his 30s, but we are gunna need to find a guy who is much more mobile, athletic, and technically capable of doing what he does and much more.

  15. As pointed out by yourself, this isn't an issue if we are controlling games with possession of the ball. It feels so much worse when we are having 40% of the ball. Bruno thrives off better play around him. But when you have Casemiro, rashford and garnacho losing the ball regularly, the forward passes Bruno makes doesn't feel enough.

The guy needs rest. His work rate is phenomenal and without him we would be exposed even more than we are now. For someone to not have missed a game through injury in 3 years is insane. The guy needs a rest, but how can we rest someone that right now is irreplaceable. Mainoo might be the guy to allow him rest, but right now we have no choice regardless of how 'poor' he is

  16. I think this video could be used as evidence for why Bruno shouldn’t be the player we build the team around/be the captain. He’s too unpredictably creative. He clearly has a high tactical understanding and ability to play within systems but he isn’t someone you base the team around. At least not for ten hag. Love him to death, the best player we have signed since sir Alex retired

  17. I don’t think Bruno starting every game is an issue if he is fit to do so. But I don’t think he should never be subbed off just because he is captain. Eriksen, Mount, and Mctominay can all fill in for 20-25 mins if we are actually winning a game.

  18. Not one mentions ball loss with de bruyne cus he's playing passes that are for other players to look good or do something, Bruno plays passes when it's gonna make him look good, but recently he's even started playing % passes too. He has to recognize when to play 10yards passes to move the ball, and he can't. You'd forgive it if he was good off the ball but he's not, and he's in the center of the pitch, yet seems to be anywhere but when we don't have it, it's no surprise our biggest issue is players cutting straight through that area. Football has gone way past carrying a player, city don't carry De bruyne, he's in a structure off the ball and uses his brain. If your gonna use Bruno to potential and let him just purely create, he has to play in a two upfront or on the right

  19. Go through EVERY game and you will find COUNTLESS examples of Bruno giving the ball away in a flippant or ill-considered manner with a poor pass that he was hoping would be Hollywood. It OFTEN results in the end of an attacking phase for us and occasionally results in our opponents scoring. He's said before now that he won't change the way he plays so maybe he just needs to change the team he plays for. I am THOROUGHLY sick of seeing him reduce good goal scoring opportunities to shite. Ta-ra 👋

  20. Bruno losing possession is not the problem. It's how he loses is it, when he loses it and where he loses that is the problem.
Meanwhile, what if Bruno is already in decline?

  21. Rather than mount being injured the problem with ten haag is he doesn't sub bruno mayb he thinks he's a robot.Ten haag has poor player management,he once didn't sub rashford and bruno even when they had poor games.

  22. Bruno is clearly our best player and has been ever since he arrived. The worrying thing for me is that his goals have dropped off. When he arrived he was scoring for fun, but not so much anymore

  23. Skill isn't everything. Sometimes a less skilled player gels the team together much better. Ronaldo is/was obviously also a top top player, but we don't mis him.

  24. ,Comparing Bruno to KDB? KDB play in a team with far better players who creative many more spaces, and makes it easier for KDB to pass into. Bruno has to work for those spaces.
Bruno has been, and still, is the most creative player in Europe over the last 4 years he's been at United.. For those haters who say he's declining, here's Bruno's stats for the 10 games he played for Portugal in in the Euro qualifiers, Playing with far better players, Yet' he was still supposed to be, not playing well for United.
Euro. Qualifiers 10 games Stats. Bruno Joint No1 for most goals and assist on 14. (6 goals. 8 assists) No1 for most chances created, 39. And he had 5 MOM awards

  25. Bruno is a stat monster, however he is a main reason why we can't control possession, he has zero positional discipline, so how can you create patterns of play when you don't know where a player is going to be, in defence he charges out of position on a 'showboat' press leaving us wide open… I think it would be very clever business to cash in this summer, he's been brilliant for us, but he's pushing 30 we could easily get £70/£80m and while any replacement may not get his personal stats, we could look a much better team…. almost Van Nistelrooy syndrome again.
