  1. Out of those Kambwala- but I think he has to play Amas we've seen the team forced back into a more counter attacking game with space in between the lines. Amas at LB solves this. Yes Ten Hag won't do it because of his 'principles' but quite honestly we'll have some sort of fix in the summer and we are truly desperate.

  2. I think Amrabat is definitely the best option for us. It’s obviously not ideal, but he was actually one of our best players when he was at LB earlier in the season. Especially against Palace in the cup when we were controlling the game, he was arguably MOTM. Other options for me are Amass to be given his chance, or possibly to just go to a back 3, since we seem to have plenty of CBs. I can’t believe that we didn’t sign Reguilon permanently. Such a stupid decision. We also should’ve kept either Brandon Williams or Alvaro Fernandez from their loans, so we wouldn’t have needed Reguilon in the first place. Or recalled one of them last transfer window if possible.

I’d also argue that Casemiro should be the one rotating higher up the pitch, with Mainoo staying in the deeper 6 position in build up. Obviously, that’s not what Ten Hag is doing, but I can’t understand why. Casemiro is poor in build up, and Mainoo is brilliant in build up. Casemiro’s creativity could be used higher up the pitch in transition. It makes so much more sense to me tbh.

  3. I think the 3 best options are and this depends on the game is first like AJ said playing dalot lb and inverting and kambwala as a rb and I think we could be very defensively solid. Second option when awb is back is actually playing him as a lb as against left footed wingers he will find it easier to put in a challenge, he also is superb at making runs to make space for other players which will help rashy a lot, however the back 3 with awb as lcb will be worse however maybe we should start seeing amrabat playing as the dm as I we having seen amarabat play any where near to his best yet and if he gets to his best then playing out the back with him deeper will be easier. And finally I think when mason mount is back we should see Mainoo as the rb and him stay in the back 3 in possession like in pre season. And then dalot play as an inverted rb and I think this is possibly the best option but I don’t want to see awb as a rb as he just isn’t any where near as good as dalot in this system we play now as awb can’t rly hold the width and definitely can’t move into midfield

  4. Recall Alvaro is the best solution but it won't happen. Lindelof is the best alternative. We need to keep dalot on the right bc him and garna have formed a good duo on the right

  5. Letting Reguillon return to Spurs was an odd decision given that we have had so many problems there. Alvaro Fernandez would have been a good option but obviously we needed some money for FFP. I think I’d go with Harry Amass at LB. The lad will end up there sooner or later anyway as Malacia and Shaw have barely played and maybe shouldn’t be risked this season.

  6. Amrabat at LB, tucking into a back 3 and staying back in attack. Bruno can provide the overlap for Marcus when needed (his left footed crossing or trivela is best out of whats available) with Casemiro pushing up into a higher central area (he has the creative passing and distance shooting to work well here in short spells) and Amrabat/Maguire moving into the DM position.

Between the motor of Amrabat, Bruno, Casemiro, Mainoo, and Dalot, we can recover in transition but Onana has to be brave with balls over the top.

  7. I say give the kid a start. Kam needs playing time and if this works weve got new potential going forward over the next month or so. If he doesn’t seize the moment against a team like fulham, then go back to the other options that each carry several issues of their own and will always be what we know them to be – which is nothing new and not solving anything imo

  8. Neither Amrabat nor Lindelof at LB works, and I don't want Dalot moving when he is such good form. 😕🤔

I prefer Wildcard solutions when nothing normal is viable, so I'd have 2 options.

    1) Harry Amass, because if you're good enough, you're old enough.

    2) Antony 😅 sounds wild, but in midfield possession he actually isn't bad, and as an over/underlapping full back I think it cuts out the problem of him being predictable. Plus he can work hard defensively, so in a home game vs Fulham I just wanna see if there could be ANYTHING to it 😂
