  1. Phonzie: my parents dont like to talk about life back home (because its prob very traumatizing)
TSN: okay parents please talk about how people were being slaughtered while we shove cameras in your face, it'll make the story more dramatic

  2. The fact this kid, went from ST/LW in the watered-down MLS, to playing LM/LB in one of the top 4 leagues in the world and being one of the best fullbacks currently, is astronomically mind-boggling.

  3. Fast forward to 2021 and he's a regular in the Bayern Munich team with a CL title to his name at the age of 19. Got a big future ahead of him

  4. One year later, he rips apart Chelsea and Barcelona in the UCL, while winning a Sextuple. The year after that, he is leading Canada to their first World Cup since 1986. He’s only 20 and has already cemented himself as the greatest Canadian footballer of all time.

  5. When his mom picks him up as an adult at the White Caps game, at the end of the documentary – that's the strength of a mom who would do anything for her children. What a legend. What a story. Canada is so lucky to have Alphonso and his family.

  6. If he remains humble the way he is now and don’t carried away with early success and work hard definitely he would be world famous very soon.

  7. I had to use all my willpower to not cry at the end. He has become one of my new favourite players for more reasons then one. Love from Australia 🇦🇺

  8. Wow what story
I have seen him 2 times live and he puts on such a show
I have the same goal as him and I hope to achieve it the same way he has❤️

  9. The date is 11/9/2022. Over 3 years after this video. Davies is now the best left back in the world. Winning a champions league. Helping and set to lead Canada to there 2nd World Cup ever. With all these accomplishments he is still only 22 years old. The sky is the limit for what this kid can do
