If teo was great should of find the way to break down the fighter and finish in stayle or ko . Bud, tank, Haney, David benavidez, ect. I think what stops it from happening is the teo says it himself he trains to bet himself, not the fighter he goes in with no tactic or game plan?.

Look I know in boxing is about winning rounds by points but for me as a fan the champ deserves the win if is debatable.

I love it how none of these guys can agree on this fight. I also love that Timmy is not afraid to call people out. I agree with Timmy. Ortiz did get cheated. I also agree that neither fighter did much. It was a very boring fight with few punches being thrown and even less landed by either side. I'd like to comment on "effective aggression" I know that its a secondary judging category but I think some people don't understand what exactly its meaning is. It is not just chasing a guy for twelve rounds. I can understand a fighter being given a point if they are constantly trying to engage when another fighter is not. But chasing a guy for twelve rounds and not connecting is not "effective". I agree with Paulie that Ortiz needed to better capitalize on making Teofimo miss but it is not like he wasn't trying it. There were just a lot of misses by both guys. I'll make this point at multiple times in the fight Teofimo was clearly frustrated and would take a step back and signal for Ortiz to come in. Ortiz did come in. Missed a lot but he did come in. Teofimo tried to cut off the ring the way he knows how and since it did not work he gave up on cutting the ring off. I think a draw or a win for Ortiz would be a better outcome. I do not understand how anyone gave that fight to Teofimo.

Ortiz got what he deserved. You have to fight the champ in order to beat him. That wasn't boxing. That was boring. Ortiz said he would never leave it to the judges again. Ortiz even said he would knock Teofimo out, but it didn't happen. This dude sounds like he lost a lot of money on the fight. Live and learn, bud.

Ortiz played himself. On top of that, his corner kept feeding him the recipe for disaster, and he kept doing the same thing. Ortiz isn't Mayweather. He is a nobody at this point, and for good reason. Ortiz should fight the loser between Romero and Pit bull. That would be generous at this point.
