  1. Not happy.. Cole Palmer is a City supporting Mancunian who has been at the club since boyhood, what is the point of a youth system if we are buying players of equal or lesser talent and the homegrown players are not given a chance, Foden and Lewis have succeeded I know but that's two players in a decade, the academy it seems is just another revenue stream for the club and not a genuine pathway to the first team.

  2. Really do not get it AT ALL. Wonderful talent, no doubting that, reminds me Asensio when he was breaking through at Madrid, but WHY do Chelsea need him. Sterling’s started the year well, they already had Mudryk and Madueke, Nkunku’s come in and Chukwemeka has looked decent in that position as well. Makes no sense for their team.

  3. Lol at stevie " every one is gping to be expecting him to be the ansu fati of when he was 15/16 years old. πŸ˜… amm i missing something is he secretly 35 years old.

The guy is talented and still young and a loan move to brighton with the system and football they play would be great for him

  4. Leboeuf is exactly right. When you look at Chelsea there is no fear factor. It is all unproven young players. They needed 3 or 4 experienced, exceptional players.

  5. Pep Guardiola is not a stupid to let go a talent player this deal is just like kai harvetz deal pochettino needs experience and real time player's not some media hyped dumb player's example afc Wimbledon game even Gallagher can't score before the goal post

  6. Brighton is way better move for Ansu Fati – he will be able to play up front at times to link up play when J Pedro is not chosen or fit, come in as a sub on the left or right for the wingers.

  7. Who are hiring these decision makers at some of these clubs? Arsenal signing below bang average Havertz & getting goofball Raya on a Loan, United signing below bang average Mason Mount & soon Cucurella, and Chelsea with bang average goofball Palmer + many others. Where can i interview for a position?

  8. Guardiola knows everything but the truth is that Palmer is amazing talent! No idea how's he with his behavior though and I'm a M. Utd fan and I wish he was in our team!

  9. The ignorance of this bunch of pundits is remarkable. Firstly they seem clueless as to why Chelsea are buying so many young players, even though it's been very well reported. One more time: Boehly and co took the decision to meet FFP by getting out the massive wage earners and bringing in young talent on long contracts. They are making huge savings, backing their world class recruitment team in the process. Because these players will not be on astronomical wages, should they need to be sold they can be because other teams can actually afford their salary. As has been mentioned below, Joe Shield knows Palmer inside out. He will play 10 while Nkunku is out, but can play all along the front line. A star of England's Euro winning U21 team and City's only goalscorer in the Community shield and Super cup finals. Bargain

  10. Football pundits 🀣🀣 the squad needs new blood young players, next week the squad needs experience πŸ˜…, they just go along with any narrative πŸ˜€πŸ˜€
