We miss that explosive presence on our wings. Dembele (as much as I hate to admit) made things happen with his dribbling and pace. Our current forwards don’t have that (except yamal but he’s still young).

Well structured interview by Deco and I think Barca are still lacking depth. We need Ansu, and the Moroccan that was sold to Betis. Lewandowski is ageing and we need young talented players to fill in his vacuum
I know people always try to be diplomatic or politically correct but the fact is that having half of your starting 11 out at the same time is a valid reason for any team, not just Barcelona, not performing at their best. It's not one or two injuries, it's not bench players like Roberto & Alonso being injured, it was key starters all out at the same time. There is no team in world football that would continue performing at the highest level with that many key starters out at the same time. With all that said, at the very least we expect to see intensity, passion, effort regardless of who is on the field.

The problem with most Barca fans is they stuck in an era when the team had outstanding players. These group of players don't come anywhere near those standards. Just lower your expectations and allow the people who know their jobs build the team up. Give Xavi room and stop all the plenty talk. You can't even pay €50m for a player and you wanna compete at the very top only after 2 years of your manager when all he's working with is mostly young talents, prospects and world class players who have past their prime.
I believe Xavi also wants to rebuilt Barca back to top level. However he lack the experience as a top coach and will take years to built. Also the club just lost an entire golden generation of footballers just last season. Fully agree with what Deco is saying here with full of encouragement, wisdom and asusrance given to us.
Sorry despite the past few games with the results Xavi is still the best man for the job the guy did what many couldn't give it time we'll soon be winning many trophies again
For now we need to effectively utilize the players we have and that rests on the coach & the commitment of the players.

Our team is much weaker thab last seasons team we had goof back ups and depth off the bench now we dont even have wingers who can change games with individualitys like abde or ansu who as tleast came in fresh and bring in rythm and versatile at the wings we had kessie a box to box who did dirty work we had dembele who added threat abd expolsivness to our attack now we got an old gundogan who doesnt wanna be here no more we got no wings to when raphinha ferran or felix dont perform.
I completely agree with Deco! Barcelona do not need Roque to join before playing well. The team is well stocked with brilliant and experienced players. There is a good mix of talents in the current Barca team that no team can boast of right now.
The major and only problem is the manager! We need to stop worshipping Xavi as a player but focus on Xavi as a coach. It's good that he returned us to winning way after joining the club one and half seasons ago. But that's not enough for us to tolerate him returning us to the bottom of the table before he leaves. Consistency is what defines a good coach not epileptic performance.
Girona Coach Michel Sanchez has been consistent bringing his team from Segunda to La Liga, putting them at 10th position in his first season in La Liga and now currently 1st with his team being a joy to watch. That is consistency and that certifies that he is a very good coach. Pep too has been consistently proving his brilliance as a coach. If Xavi can't do that with the brilliant players at his disposal, then he is not good enough as a coach for Barca. Let him go any mid-table team to discover himself.

I will agree with Deco that we have a good squad, but the problem is that we don’t know how to play. A huge red flag of that problem is that Lewa has to drop deep to get involved in the play…. That’s a big big problem and a sign that our positional play is not good enough and that anybody in the team doesn’t have specific roles during the games. Xavi is the problem, not the quality of the players.
