The problem with professional sports is $. Good teams have more good players who earn a lot of money. They think someone on team will take on responsibilty to win the game or play better for rest fo team. Like Lloris said, the whole team has to play well and not a few individuals. If they didn't make a lot of money and their wages depended on performance and outcome, we would see better matches all the time. More effort and desire to win.
